I agree- to each their own. There were once some maps on the various mongering areas, ranging from SWs to the strip bars and all the assorted massage parlors, but the last one I had was so outdated as to be useless. I'm curious as to areas other than El Centro that has SWs- I've heard of La Majorita, but not quite sure. When I was over there all I saw was trucking companies. Anyone know of more information, or interested in combining forces to create a Google map or something?

Trip recap 3/6/21-3/14/21-Sorry about the length.

3rd trip to Medellin, second this year. 45 year old with decent Spanish. I stayed in the Alori again. Its a nicer high end Air be&be in Laureles. Yes, guest friendly, but definitely not the most welcoming. I also had a F* pad that was totally independent. It was off LA70 and was used a few times. Didn't have AC so that was a bit of a drag.

Here's how the week laid out. I landed with a list of 10 chicas I wanted to meet / repeat with. I met 4 of the 10 with 6 flaking, vanishing, or getting ejected off the list. And as can be expected, there were new ones added to the list to make for a fun week.

Saturday-Repeat date with Sara Giraldo (FB). She's fun but lives in her own world. Such a little pollito brain. Fun in bed but a little loca. I would still repeat.

Saturday night. Made it to La Isla (entrance fee was 20 K) and it was pretty tame. Hung out for a minutes, considered buying a bottle of wine but the waiters kept giving me different prices of 250 K and 400 K. I just stuck to beer (25 K). Met one chica and got her drinks until she couldn't see straight but didn't pull the trigger. Still a fun night.

On Sunday I wanted to meet a young FB cutie (Yvonne) who gave off the normal chica vibe. But she wanted me to eat at her house and meet her mom. That seemed sketch for a first date so I passed and told her we needed to plan lunch in Laureles.

With that opening up my schedule, I was determined to pop my El Centro cherry. I did a couple of loops around the Veracruz church and finally posted up by the Premier to see what would develop. Anyways, am I supposed to always tell these chicks that I won't pay first? I haven't had an issue like that in 8 years. Oh and she was also SUPER cute so if anyone wants a stab at her, let me know.

Monday night I went to the Mansion for the first time. I was expecting a Gustos type of environment and it was more like a dirty high school gym. Haha. The girls were much younger than I expected and they were having a blast playing topless musical chairs. Its a cool place, but don't feel the need to get dressed up there (maybe nicer at the end of the week). After that, I made it over to Rooftop Envy for a few drinks. Nice place to take a date. Got to have a hotel reservation to use the rooftop pool though. Wandered through Parque Lleras after and met Sofie. Mulata that was just chillen. We talked and joked for awhile. She was super chill. Back to the main apartment with a bottle of ron. Great experience, no issues, 4 pops and she spent the night. 300 K.

Tuesday I had an afternoon date with CC Colazos or Camila Colazos (FB). She showed up dressed skanky. Probably should have told her to dress normal due to the place I was staying at. Experience was a solid see. Looks were a see+ as her grill was jacked. Her tits were amazing though. She smelled like cigarettes though and kinda rushed through things. Wouldn't recommend or repeat.

Thursday I had to get my covid test, but Yvonne, the young cutie that asked me to go meet the family on the first date, messaged for our lunch date. I was super hung over but we had lunch at Delirio in Laureles. Yvonne showed up on her own dime and I noticed her eyeglass frames were broken in a number of spots (humble). We had a super great lunch and she went with me to get my Covid test at the Proanalabs near Parque Bolivar. Cost was 240 K I believe and results were back in less than 36 hours. On the way back to the Parque we stopped to look at some new eye glass frames and we found a pair she liked. Paid for those and made her day. Figure it was good to have some positive Karma in my back pocket. Back at my apartment, in the lobby, we got her an uber home as she didn't have an ID to enter my place and I didn't want to push it with desk chica.

Thursday night I was on LA 70 and it was pretty quiet. I made it over to Tequila Bar which usually has a few girls in there. I met a blonde and brunette who looked bored. The blonde was the HBIC and the brunette was shy. I worked over the blonde first to get to the brunette. We had a great night drinking and messing around a bit. I got their numbers and messaged the brunette the next day to make plans and she said "200" and I responded with "200 K" is fine. She replied back, no $200 USD. I just laughed and she came down to $100 USD but I wasnt going to go down that road. I think the blonde told her to ask for $200 and it backfired. Anyways, always clarify what 200 they mean.

Next time I'll be in Medellin will be in May and that will be my 6 week early retirement kick off.

Where did I mention my rights, US Constitutional or otherwise? They have some excellent weed in Medellin. Perhaps you should smoke some and chill yourself out, because you're getting your blood pressure up at the wrong guy.

How in the fuck am I embarrassing you when I sit down in Botero plaza, drink my water and watch the scenery? How am I making you look bad when I spend an hour in my favorite bar in El Centro? How is my head up my ass when I'm sitting in my favorite El Centro restaurant, eating and chatting with the owner, who's a friend of mine? If I hop on the metro and spend a few hours checking out the shops around Parque Bello, or the malls in Envigado or Sabaneta, why do I first need to ask your permission?

Do I also need to check to see if it's okay with you to go grab lunch in Robledo or La Floresta? If I decide to go shopping for a couple of shirts in La Mayorista, is there a website I should check to see if it's on the approved list for gringo tourists? What about if I ever again need to go to the main office of 4-72 in Medellin? I'm almost certain it's one of those places where I'm not supposed to go. Trust me, the last time I had to waste 3 hours there it wasn't a place where I wanted to be.

Maybe there's a special US Embassy hotline number, where I can call and find out if you're going to approve my visit to whatever part of the city I want to visit. Should I go ahead and submit my plans to you before my next visit? How long does your official approval process take? I'd hate to have to get up in the middle of dinner because I just got the email that you're not going to allow me to eat there.

There are places where tourists shouldn't go. Where those places are depend a great deal on the individual tourist. I know guys who should never venture outside of the Mansion without a babysitter. I also know guys who can sit down at a cafe in Paris (the area near Bello, not the city in France) and end up with a bunch of new friends.

Nothing personal, but I know my way around El Centro. I know where there's no need for me to go. I know when it's time to pack up and leave. I don't need someone, who's probably spent less time in Medellin than me, telling me which places are acceptable.

If you feel that somehow my behavior in Medellin has caused you embarrassment, please explain exactly what I did, when and where I did it. No?

I've written dozens of posts telling people how to be safer in Medellin. I've written dozens more answering questions about different areas of Medellin. I've freely given both my advice and my time to help others enjoy their stay without being an embarrassment. I've given tours to several ISG members, taken them to casas, strip clubs, even Parque Arvi. If all that makes me a POS, then so be it.
