Which Taxi App has worked best for you guys in Medellin? Cabify or Tappsi? In the past I've gone to a stand or flagged them down but seems that app is the way to go now and will use one when I shortly will return. Thanks.

I started out with taxis, went to Uber, then discovered.

DiDi which is what the locals use, it is about 20% cheaper than Uber and the cars are 2 to 3 years older but it is a great deal.

I took the Airport bus at 11 pm last night to El Centro ubehind Nutibarra, as usual I found taxis waiting for me there.

Today, Sexy Dexy and I are in the heart of the beast in El Centro, no problems. I bought four of these glasses for $15, one is a Ray Ban knock off, one is an Oakley knockoff, excellent quality.

With all that being said I would not come now with the new curfew restrictions starting in place tomorrow, does not affect the way I roll much but for anyone new or not familiar with the layout now is not the time to come.

Centro's a great place to be for a few days. The streets are vibrant, places to poke around in, sites to see if only once. Limited restaurants, and quality hotels, and most stores filled with Chinese plastic junk, but the casas are accessible. If Berrios is too gritty for you, just stay a few blocks up in Boston plaza area, it's closer to the casas there anyway. I keep in mind, having not (yet) been victimized in Centro the words of one of our sages, 'Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. '

After yesterday in El Centro with the highlight watching the taller / slender / giant holding court I finally hit paydirt. I arrived at ground zero at 11:30 AM, and there were a ton of girls out compared to the day before. I was on a mission to encounter a coffee girl, and looked and looked and looked for like an hour and a half and didn't see anything I would approach with most of them being just to grotesque. So I started to to look for something new, not being interested in all the young stuck up Venezuelans, and there were some tall cute ones out working, but just not my preference.

You certainly struck gold with your morena girl but there is one key detail missing from this report and that is what did she do with the 2 flasks of coffee, did she take them to room for refreshment after the deed.

She took them to the room being able to hold both of them in each hand. As far as refreshment after the deed, I hadn't thought about having a cup of Joe, maybe next time before the deed to get amped up before I "saltar sus huesos", jump her bones.

Work on your Spanish as much as you can as it will make a difference. I honestly can't see somebody without a certain level of Spanish speaking skills being able to successfully pull the vendors. As an example, on Monday I encountered a candy vendor with whom I could maybe understand only one of every five words she said, so I bailed.

Upon meeting her I asker her where she was from and she said Medellin, yet didn't appear that way given the exotic face features and morena skin, as it turns out she was born in Cartagena and has been in Medellin for two years, and up until a month ago had been working in a restaraunt and has only been a coffee vendor for a month. So being able to converse with her a while she asks me what I would like to do, and I put on a stupid face, and hint hint go to the room. So I ask her how much and she says 20 K, so to clarify things I ask her if she is going to blow me without a condom, and the answer was of course, and that sealed the deal. So we go upstairs and get a room at the Premium Plaza and they stick us in a room right by reception, which I don't like as you can hear everything at the front desk.

So upon entering the room I sit her down and inform her that I like things slow, not rushed, and if it's good for me she will get a tip.
