In the FB and SA arena which I frequent I agree there is no "windfall" for the chicas with Colombia becoming the Thailand of the Americas. I think there's still not that many guys coming down with Covid tests required both directions. Or maybe these chicas keep messaging me because I'm such a nice guy and easy money LOL.

But more seriously one difference I've noticed lately is the influx of black American guys, maybe former DR guys, now coming to Medellin and speak zero Spanish. They are usually a group of several guys together. I believe they frequent New Life days and Gustos nights. So maybe those venues are having a "windfall". I haven't been to either place in a couple years. But I hear the guys talking about where they are going.

I too have seen many more black mongers all around the city, in centro and the strip clubs and even the exito where I do my grocery shopping, all an uptick in the past 2 weeks.

Could be that they are the DR guys looking for their next spot to camp out at.

Much respect to the black mongers from the DR as they welcomed me into their groups when I went solo to the DR about 5 years back so I return the welcome to them.

No. I wouldn't recommend a Tinder type app, or to spend much time with the ladies trying to set something up.

I agree with Mojo Bandit, Tinder is about the worst source for girls in Medellin. It's also the source used by a few different nefarious groups to set up and rob gringos over the past few years.

Unless you're just silly with money and need some excuse to throw it away, spending time talking with the ladies, trying to set something up, unless it's within 36 hours, preferably within 6 hours, is a waste of time. Most of them will agree to almost anything, if they know it's not for the same day. The story is almost certain to change when you're ready to finalize the deal.

Speaking of stories, you'll probably hear a few of those while trying to set things up. It goes something like this:

Hello baby, how are you? Are you in Medellin? No? I'm okay but I'm sad.

When you ask why she's sad (or bored, or what she's sick of) you'll get a brief story about how she needs money and could you send her some. You might think it's only $20 or $30 and it's building goodwill and you'll be getting free sex with her when you arrive. However, the first $20 is followed by another and another and the free sex isn't likely to happen when you arrive..

A lot of truth in this and other sentiments about Tinder in Medellin.

Just my experience with it.

During quarantine last April 2020 I received a promo offer from Tinder for a 6 month Gold subscription for $30 USD, then it automatically renewed for another 6 months for $30 but this ends mid next month.

Out of boredom during the 7 month quarantine I was playing with it but did not need it as I had 2 19 yo's Vennies I took in during the quarantine for 7 months, so had young fresh sweet pussy available anytime or day I wanted.

So in the past 11 months I would receive between 5 to 30 "likes" a day, I would look at the pics and connect with a few and dump the photo-shopped and barrio chics and right now I have 445 connections and out of these 445 I will communicate with about 300 but over the past 11 months.

I still have an on going discussion with about 10 of these but out of the whole bunch I have YET to meet even one in person! Why? Just too much of a hassle as I already have a great stable of fine young fresh pussy that is reliable, good attitudes and reasonable at about 80 to 130 mil for a few hours so Tinder is a crap shoot and just to play with.

I've noticed exactly what you have and have seen black American guys cruising around El Centro and on the Metro. Like I have posted, Colombia is wide open, albeit the DR is open, if this is where these guys are used to going, but much stricter curfews. And for the the guys used to the DR with little to no Spanish speaking skills, well they are going to have a touch time plying the streets.

However, they don't use the word metro for the meter, but they actually use another word and I don't know how to spell it, but it's pronounced taxcemietro, so very close to what you said. Today I was in a cab and specifically asked the driver whether they ever use the word "meter" and he said no, they call it what I can pronounce properly but cannot spell.

I call it "el metro" and they know what I mean. Of course I am pointing at it too

I usually bring 2 or 3 towels with me when I go to Colombia. It only works if you check you luggage and you basically stay in the same place.

Been around the world twice with the same medium sized backpack. I buy and ditch. 3 towels sounds very luxurious.

Had lunch today with Cat Girl and Jewel in El Centro. They are cousins, Jewel is not Cat Girl's tia like I wrote before. Jewel was the girl I lusted after on the mountaintop but Cat Girl's brother got to her first. But the brother is still on the mountain and the girls are back in Medellin. They agreed to come over and stay at my hotel next week, more on that later.

We met at Botero Park at the El Gato statue as usual, and there was a beatdown of a guy by the crowd. He had it coming. He was shirtless, barefooted, and had obvious mental health issues. He was taller than 90% of the people there and had a little meat on him. He slapped the smallest puta I have ever seen. She looked like she was ten years old from the back, but her face looked over 30. The girls drove him away yelling and pointing for the policia, and he ran. But he came back. Big mistake. About 15 putas and a guy surrounded him and gave him a beat down, while he was on the ground one of the putas stomp kicked him in the head and he went limp. I don't know if he was faking it or had amazing recuperative powers but about 45 seconds later he jumped up and started running and he got about 20 meters, but by now there were four policia on the scene and another bystander in the crowd tackled him and the cops took him away.

There is a lot of violence in Botero Park, but one thing I don't see mentioned as much is that there is a lot of crowd effort to control it. This would be the third time I have seen the crowd run down and catch a bad guy in El Centro this trip. I have not been hanging out there nearly as much as I used to, I am staying on Avenida 70, which would be 4 metro stops away. I walk from San Antonio where I would have to transfer anyway, because it is so close and a very interesting stretch of street commerce.

Secret was here last night. She was supposed to spend the night but she started raving about some drug deal she did that went bad and she needed one million pesos or they were going to kill her. I was only paying her for drugs and taxi fare and I told her I was not going to give her a million pesos so she split after two hours of amazing fucking and sucking. She'll be back and I will probably pay her some extra. She is my most hardcore girl, lives in Bello, and has it rough.

Appreciate the insight looks like I'll stay off tinder and go off what's recommended on the forum also on these YouTube channels. Big issue is finding a Airbnb which allows guests which isn't the easiest to find. Does anyone recommend a Airbnb they have used in the past that gave them no issues with guests?

I agree that right now, Colombia is almost totally open at least for the time being for mongering versus anywhere else in the world. And with that being said, I have also noticed more gringos here now than ever before. Hence your analogy that Colombia is the Thailand of the Americas should also include the Philippines.

As far as a windfall for the Chicas, I think for the majority of them that won't be the case just because there are so many of them out on the streets competing with one another.

Okay you get some points for trying, but instead of hanging in bars and drinking beers, you need to spend more time in the area and observe for a while, versus just taking laps.

I gave him the name and Whatsapp number of a Centro girl who is very similar in face and body as the one he showed a picture of. I speak zero Spanish but have so much fun with this girl. She understands dry humor and "reading between the lines". Always smiling and fun to give crap to because she gives it right back. She is not always at Centro. Maybe 2-3 days a week. Don't take this personal but as general knowledge and an FYI, I did my background and leg work, chatted her up, and did the "heavy lifting" with her for a year to get to the point where she would provide me with her home address and let me visit her. Worth it and not easy.

I would never give out her contact info without her expressed permission which by the way I know she would not give. Furthermore, I would never make a referral for anyone whom I've never personally met and screened, and I generally do not want to meet anyone for that purpose. I have a late flight back to Medellin tomorrow. Cali was a real adventure. And yes I've been to Cali, Bogota and Medellin but I don't have enough experience to make any useful comparisons and recommendations, other than to say Medellin is my Happy Place. My "plan" is to try "Dr. Amor's" tomorrow here in Cali, on the recommendation of a couple of fellow mongerers as a desirable casa or strip club or whatever it is I'll find out when I get there. I don't go out to places like that much but I'm certainly open to new experiences. I prefer not to check into hotels super late I feel like it's kind of a wasted day so one of my favorite girls Sexy Dexy (3rd & 4th fotos) said I could crash at her place from the airport and that should make for a fun night and next morning.
