Are you sure that your posts were to provide information? I could be wrong, but it appears that you are writing several posts everyday because of a discontent of "real" life in your home country. Do you have good relationships, fit body, and receive attention from people?

Yes my posts are to provide information and I have been typically posting everyday. Fit body yes, I swim laps five days a week and am not overweight. Discontent of life in my home Country is an interesting question and the answer is yes, and no.

I have it "made in the shade" here in the USA, and live in a Southern California beachtown, and have great relationships with my family, neighbors, and friends. So that is the yes answer to your question.

So moving on to the "no" part, up until the second week in April I had been in Medellin since February living it up in Medellin until the weekend lockdowns started and left. Very very content and upon returning to the USA not a happy camper after two months of bliss in Medellin.

So hopefully this answers your question (s), and the question I have for you is, are you content in your "home country" wherever it is enough that you would not want to be spending time in Medellin. In other words, if you could, where would you rather spend your time?

Regardless, next week I'm headed to Guadalajara / Puerto Vallarta until the 23rd and if the weekend lockdowns have subsided I will return to MDE. And I don't think I will be discontent in Mexico as I will have a young Mexican Nympho in tow while hanging on the beach!

Hopefully some of what I have said makes some sense.

I'll be in MDE for starting Tuesday. It's likely with the holiday, so if / when there's a weekend lockdown next week, is there a good place to take a trip too where the lockdowns been minimal? How's Guatape been on lockdowns? Or any other towns that would be a quick bus, taxi, or even flight for the weekend?

For mongering locations outside of Medellin close-by forget it. The ideal situation however would be to take a Chica with you and stay in either San Geronimo, Santa Fe de Anotquioa, or Guatape. All easily accessible by bus within a few hours from Medellin and I have stayed in all places and have had a great time. If you can afford it, near Guatape stay at Hotel Los Recuerdos, it's within 500 meters of the Penol and get a view room. In San Geronimo there are two very nice Hotels with pools and saunas which are fun, and several in and around Santa Fe. As far as booking the rooms use Booking.com to find the establishment you might be interested in, and then book directly thru the Hotels website, albeit some won't be in English.

7:00 pm went a kilometer away to eat. Returned less than an hour later and there were 13 police near the church. Thought they just wanted to clear people out quicker. Saw the blood later that night but could not tell what it was. But this morning when I saw it I knew what it was. All the people walking past looking at it also knows. Not sure about Medellin but I think Colombia in general, is getting better by the day. In Bogota, things started to quite down a few days ago and I'm told by a friend who traveled from the south to north last night that the city seems to be back to normal. We'll still have to contend with the proto calls but the 4/3 is over, not sure about any pico placa or curfews in place but as far as getting to your favorite mamacita sure not be a problem.

There's two National Holidays in June on the 7th and 14th which are Mondays. I'm thinking of returning the end of the month and staying well into June, but God forbid if the 4/3 lockdowns are instigated again as in the past they have sequestered everyone when the ICU capacity is at a certain level which hasn't been dropping. As far as the protests the situation seems to be getting better in Medellin as well, and I also think the rains have helped as odd as that may seem, as there has been quite a bit of rainfall lately and a lot of flooding.

Will be my return to Medellin. I know its a crappy time to go-but it may be my only chance for a long time and my work is forcing me to use up vacation time.

Am I better off getting a finca somewhere outside of Medellin like Guatape or Jardin and bringing a girl with me for a few nights or just staying in Medellin-probably being more stuck in the hotel-but having different female options. In normal times-I want the variety of chicas--but now-maybe less girls but more time with each to be safe??

Anyone have ideas for a plan of attack: 2 weeks in Colombia based in Medellin starting next Monday. I have been there 13 times and know the city well but its been 14 months or so since I was in Colombia heaven.

If one is too concerned to go to Medellin, then Costa Rica is fine. I am not sure I'd call it a replacement, though. I do not find Costa Rican women, in general, to be as attractive as Colombianas. That said, you can find Colombian hookers in Costa Rica. You'll just pay more for sex there.

Peru, Ecuador, Nicaragua, they are nice women yes, but not the same as Colombians, Venezuelans or Argentinians. They are more of Indians and indigenous backgrounds, whereas COL, VZ, AR are mixed with Europeans hence looks different / better. Now Costa Rica would be a fair replacement for Colombia imo.
