When Medellin is open, I can't think of another venue on the planet worth visiting.

This has been evidenced by the onslaught of gringos prior to the beginning of the weekend lockdowns in April.

Yes Mexico is open, but no comparison to Colombia in my book. And the DR is open albeit with loose curfews, but again no comparison to Colombia. Asia is dead, and whatever is going on in Europe, well it can't be compared to Colombia.

I think everyone on this board would like to know of other venues worth visiting, so if you have any suggestions, throw them out there.

I personally don't recommend Panama. It's hot as hell and not safe. You find the same girls in Colombia but in Panama, you pay three time the price. La Bocatorena is the only affordable place but it is very crowded; and after 10 min in the back, your time is up.

I haven't been to Panama in a long time so my info is very dated, that's why I said maybe but thanks for the update. It just might be time to stop trying to talk ourselves into going on any trip. Just cool my jets and wait for real improvement to the situation before I start planning anything. Just as dangerous and fucked up, I have a girl in Buca who will not go out after dark. I always liked the Miraflores area of Lima a lot, the best food in South America but I have read the covid has fucked that up too. Maybe Panama, less covid a little safer!

You fine gentlemen that are in Medellin, do you think places will "reopen" regularly sometime in the next 2 months? I have a friend from there who says even though there are restrictions, the places still open like regular in Medellin, but obviously he is wrong after reading here. Just trying get a feel for what to expect when I'm there in July. And can someone correct me if I'm wrong here: reasonable price for a 9 or 10/10 for an hour is around 250 k-300 k pesos. If so what's the mileage? BBBJ usually accepted with that? Sorry for the questions. Trying to prepare adequately.

The difference between a 7 and a 9 or 10 usually comes down to make up and / or surgery. If the surgery was done at a butcher shop that 10 can turn into a 3 the moment the clothes come off. That said, the going rate is 150 mil plus maybe 20 for taxi or 200 mil all total, though there are some guys paying more. It's possible that the girl will turn down your offer if any real number of these suckers happen to be in town and on her radar, c'est la Vie. As to the BBBJ, most in the Facebook scene are good with this. If it's a deal breaker for you best to settle it upfront, or you can wait until she arrives and offer a tip (50 mil should do it) if she initially refuses. Good luck.

I do prefer street walkers but I won't be desperate for putang since there is so much in MDE, I just want to see something different and that was the whole point of stying here for months, to see more than just MDE but the whole place is so messed up right now. I had a few girls mention Santa Fe to me, seems like an interesting option as well.

In addition to robberies, be careful with gringos, including those in El Centro.

Some of them have mental problems, criminal records, drug problems, etc.

A few of them are extorted by the local gangs and they are informers for the latter.

JohnnyO, I took a Colombian to Cancun, and she stayed longer in Cancun without my knowledge. LOL. Main thing is make sure the women are with you when you travel and enter Mexico and make sure the women do not look that slutty.

Depends how you roll, if your into the street walkers, albeit very different than Medellin, perhaps Santa Marta, but you should read that forum, if not totally shutdown during the daytime / weekends it will be better than Bucaramanga. If your looking for a change of scenery with no mongering options, get on the bus and head to Santa Fe for a few days and take a Chica with you. I left when the weekend shutdowns began in April, which are hopefully over now, but I can see how it has gotten old with the lockdowns, the protests, and having to work around all the constraints associated with them.

As soon as COVID simmers down in Medellin, things will be back to what I considered normal which was up until the first week of April.

The most stark difference in my life between countries was Finland and the Soviet Union in 1983. Second was Venezuela and Colombia in 2007. Third, and it saddens me to say this was gong to Mexico from Colombia last month. Yes, it really is that bad now.

If you want to play, head to Monterrey, Mexico City, or Guadalajara. If you want the beach life, take a gal from one of those cities to Cancun or take your favorite Colombian (or 3 or 4 or 5) to Mexico. There are slim picking in Cancun and prices are almost sex prison like for some pussy.

You should have no problem finding Colombian women jumping at the chance to leave. Wingo Airlines s flying non-stop round trip to Cancun from Medellin for around $300. Get an airBNB in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen for $50 a night and if you do take Colombian women, you can have the greatest orgies of your life, and the women will not want to leave.

Very difficult to know what will work for another mongerer. I am not in Medellin now but I am getting daily updates from multiple sources. At the moment, feels like the worst has passed. But the situation is fluid and hard to say what it will be like by the time your dates roll around. Me personally, I would say now is not the season to discover Medellin for first time visitors. Experienced visitors, maybe. Different story. But first-timers, without contacts and some steady go-to girls you can trust? I would be hesistant. Who knows when things will get back to normal, or new normal, or whatever normal becomes, and that could support your decision to go ahead and pull the trigger and visit during your planned dates. Ultimately, your call. The other factor to consider is not just the chicas, but the more stressed the environment, the more dangerous it is for street crime, desperate acts and such. Think how you will feel if you come and something bad happens, you will be second guessing yourself for a long time after that.

I have been in Medellin 5 times over last 3 years and still confused about going in first week of June. I have a stable of FB chicas but I am bored of them. Need new ones. I like streets, clubs and centro. With all that's happening I think having a buddy or two would help navigate the scene more safely. Anyone up for a trip in two weeks?

I am flexible with dates and contemplating a week's run.
