Most dictionaries define rampant as "spreading unchecked; widespread". Prostitution in Cuba doesn't fit either of those. Also, if it was rampant, one would not have to work to find it. I agree it can be fruitful when you find it in Cuba, but it's not readily available.

Since I wrote my last post on no shows I had another no show that evening and I could not resist going to Centro any longer since I saw the videos. The plan, if there was no police presence I wouldn't stay.

Luckily there was a large police presence at strategic points which allowed me to do laps while the police were constantly in sight. It felt good to be back but unfortunately 98% of the girls looked rough and dirty like they hadn't showered or washed their clothes in a month. 3 good contacts went back to Ven so I was on a mission.

Slim pickings so I go to Hilton grill. Por Dios it was like a frustrated weight watchers convention. I was there a little over a week ago and coming back to Medellin Monday if that answers your question, there's plenty of fun to still be had. When I was there I was averaging 2-3 girls and 5 nuts a day.

Nevertheless, What is the ground report on protests in Centro? I heard protests are confined to Centro on most days and nights. Occasionally other areas including Robledo and Prado.

I have some FB chicas tell me the protests are peaceful singing protests and people go about their business around protesters and inviting me to come sample their charms next week. Others say it turns violent occasionally. This past Wednesday's call for demonstrations seem fairly peaceful here as opposed to Bogota or Cali.

What do you guys predict will happen two weeks from now. I spoke with a gringo expat who has been living in Sabaneta for past 8 years and he asked to stay in Poblado / Laureles and not venture to Centro. That would really dent my style, I can't get to casas fast enough. LOL.

I've been going to Medellin for 7-8 years now. I have some real gems. But no matter how amazing and cool the girls seem, it's always about the money and my turn. The locals fuck them for free and we pay their rent and shit. But that's OK. All accepted. Heading to mde in 8 days. Should be amazing!

That can be really frustrating. Rio was famous for a terma girl not showing up at my apartment after work. So I started double booking and sometimes triple. Make 2 or 3 dates 1 hour apart, when the first girl texts you she's on the way, cancel the others. At least you will end up with at least one date and not ruin your whole night.

Yeah, Colombianas are also notorious for no-shows and for being late by hours. But here are four reasons or examples of why I won't overbook. "On the way" has an entirely different meaning to these chicas, so that can also backfire on you. I was just warning a fellow mongerer the other day who was meeting a chica I gave him through referral, that one time she texted me continuously for two days with fotos (they keep old stock fotos stored on their phone to make it look like they are where they want to be) that she was around the corner and on the way, jajajaja. Reason #2, some of these girls, a lot of these girls, exist on the edge of their finances and cannot absorb a round trip taxi fare. Here is a real-world example.

Finally, a fourth example. Would you double or triple book appointments for an important business meeting, an airline flight, or with a doctor? Of course not and these girls are none of that. Anyone know about Haven hotel? One of the reviews says you can bring a guest, but I wasn't sure if it was one guest at a time or one guest during your entire time. I would like a pool. I've been using Airbnbs.

I've stayed there both times I went to Medellin. They're very relaxed about guests, and you don't have to pay for them as long as you don't hit your room limit. The regular rooms have a 2 person capacity, so if you bring two girls at one time you have to pay for one of them. The pool is open pretty late too on weekends, and it's heated which is also a nice perk. The breakfast sucks though.

Next time I go I'll be staying in Haven again, the rooms are definitely not big but the price is great and the area is ideal for mongering. Tons of restaurants around and Lleras right around the corner, less than 2 minute walk.

Went on a tourist walking tour around centro in part to do some tourist stuff and in part to see centro in the safety of a group. At the beginning of the tour I saw this really cute, school girl type girl dressed in a short skirt that was probably a prepago but I didn't talk to her because she was talking to a police officer and I didn't want to get outed as a monger in the tour. Fortunately the tour had a twenty minute break around Plaza Botero and the guide openly said that there were WGs around the church so I decided to check it out. The area is not exactly safe but I don't think it is the same level of danger as something like Santa Fe in Bogota. Police presence seemed lighter than it should be but there are a ton of people, restaurants, touts etc. Around so while you could get unlucky and get robbed, I think the most likely fear is pickpocketing, at least during the day. Felt kind of a like a slightly grittier version of Plaza Bolivar in Bogota. Saw a couple cute girls around and it is probably worth the prices discussed previously on the forum at least based on appearance. Considering checking out the scene later during my time here.

Felt like going to a massage place and Jade Palace was close to my hotel. Buzzed in to the building, spa is in the second floor and met with the receptionist. Saw the line-up, 4 girls all in the 5/6 range. In retrospect, I probably should have just left there with the quality of the girls all over Medellin but I was lazy and really didn't feel like taking a taxi to another place or waiting for the area around Parque Lleras to pick up. Picked Mary who was kind of chubby but otherwise at a decent looking face. Asked for a shower and started the massage. Had the flip and negotiated 50 K for OWO. She did a pretty good job with OWO and I ended up cumming due to it. Cleaned up and she continued the massage since I had time left. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get hard in time for a fuck session but honestly she really wasn't hot enough for me to regret much. At the hour, got dressed and left. Generally good and friendly customer service but honestly unless you are really lazy like I was, there are much better options around. Cost was 160 K for the massage (which includes sex, massage and CBJ)+50 K for OWO.

Went down to parque lleras around 5:30 to see if there was any action there but didn't really see much. Decided to go down again at around 8:00 and saw the action kick off. I really wasn't in the mood for any action after Jade Palace so I decided to make this more of a scouting trip. The park had a couple of girls around but nothing was a must smash. Also stopped by Club Gusto at the behest of a tout since it was no cover. Bought a beer for 20 K and looked around for the talent. Girls were mostly 7's, in my opinion, with the occasional 6 or 8 around. Honestly I think some of the staff were closer to 8's but I don't think they are on the menu. There were a couple other mongers around but the ratio was like 5:1 chicas to mongers. Wasn't planning on doing anything so just left after seeing the eye candy. The club wasn't pushy about buying anything and the girls seemed mostly content on talking with each other. A couple of girls tried to show off a bit as I passed by but as a whole I was disinterested and left.

Honestly, I think YyzTravel's guide a couple pages back (Thank you so much for this, it is incredibly useful) is spot on and I will be investing some time into getting some facebook girls for my next trip.

I have a couple of questions related to the curfew / hotels:

1. For girls you find at the clubs or around Parque Lleras, do you take them back to you hotel or are there some motels in the area that can be used? I am kind of concerned if I use a motel in the area I can't come back before the curfew hits.

2. For clubs like La Isla, Fase II etc. , are there taxis and ways to get back before the curfew hits at 10? And do the clubs actually close? I am kind of concerned about getting stuck / price gauged at a club or being forced to pay the fine for breaking curfew.

You'll be fine, I've called didi / uber well after midnight sending the girls home. It may take a bit and a few attempts but the drivers are there. Personally if you have a place take them there just to save the money but if you don't care and want to use the motel you won't have issues getting a ride back just make take a little longer than usual.

Expect to spend about 500 mil for a few drinks and a couple ladies drinks. Beers are 60 k but might be less.

Depending on the economy prices might go up by the time you come.

Take out will depend on each girl but I imagine she won't take less than 500 mil. The bar fine is 180 mil.

This is about as high end as you will get in Medellin as far as the ambiance.

I've been there and the only thing "high end" was the prices. The girls were the same barrio girls though most had accumulated enough cash for surgery and a "replica" Gucci purse. There's way too many good options in Medellin to patronize clip joints. Good luck gentlemen.
