I get you as there was a time in my life when I was an big heart'ed generous loving and giving person, always sharing to those less fortunate but learned the culture here in Colombia which after decades of hard lessons (and some expensive) has completely changed my attitude.

Frankly there are literally millions of Colombians in the same situation if not worse.

Anymore the only way I 'would throw a few bucks her way' is "si-lo mama", meaning 'sure so suck my dick' and anything else and your getting taken for a ride. There is no respect to kind heart'ed people here, this is the culture, I am keeping it real here.

Just a bit of advice to help open your eyes. You don't have to take heed as I sound like a jack ass but I am just talking frankly. Ten years ago I would never have believed I would even hint at this but I have learned the culture.

I think I would start looking here. This place is in El Poblado and I am not sure they do retail but they could answer your question, They are located 280 feet south of Parque Lleras on Carrera 39 surrounded by bars.

Happy to address your concerns. I went there yesterday at around 2. 30 ish in the PM. From my experience I also used to think that women in dire straits would also equate to anything goes but its just not always the case. Yesterday I asked around 4-5 girls and they said no, now I could have pushed and made an offer for BBBJ but I didn't as I was just scouting around there was nothing that I felt I absolutely wanted to take.

I'm dismayed to hear about what you have reported as I'm currently scheduled to arrive back in Medellin Saturday night and will be at ground zero Sunday afternoon. Yeah, Colombianas are also notorious for no-shows and for being late by hours. But here are four reasons or examples of why I won't overbook. "On the way" has an entirely different meaning to these chicas, so that can also backfire on you. I was just warning a fellow mongerer the other day who was meeting a chica I gave him through referral, that one time she texted me continuously for two days with fotos (they keep old stock fotos stored on their phone to make it look like they are where they want to be) that she was around the corner and on the way, jajajaja. Reason #2, some of these girls, a lot of these girls, exist on the edge of their finances and cannot absorb a round trip taxi fare. Here is a real-world example.

I was in a hotel once in Medellin and I heard a knock on a door of one floor up, directly over me. For three hours the knocking did not stop. My natural curiosity eventually led me upstairs to where I found wear a gorgeous young chica camped out in the hallway. She said she had been called to that room, she was sure the gringo was inside but he would not come to the door. Fast forward, I was on my way out and when I returned two hours later she was still there knocking on the door, now for about five hours. She told me she was not going to leave until she got paid, so I did the obvious thing and paid her to come to my room instead, jajaja.

Finally, a fourth example. Would you double or triple book appointments for an important business meeting, an airline flight, or with a doctor? Of course not and these girls are none of that. I am trying to remember the saying so this is probably a misquote but it goes something like this, "True character is revealed by the difference between how a person acts in the company of presidents and kings, and how he acts in front of common and poor people. " A person with true character, his behavioral will not change.
