Surprised that la Isla was open. Is there no nightly curfew from 10 pm-5 am at the moment? Is Gustos or Lleras Disco open?

Lleras is a ghost town after 10 pm. La Isla always opened late much throughout the pandemic.

They obviously have agreements with the police since there is police presence there which makes me feel more comfortable.

Use one of their private taxis on the way back is my suggestion.

Here is the downside for some. It will cost you more.

Cover was 30 mil. Taxis will charge you 50 mil.

They are the only show in town. I did hear Fase Dos is open til 2 but didn't bother to check.

Unidad Deportes Bellen, its a large City sports complex with soccer fields, tennis courts, etc. Just show up open from 8 AM to 4 PM but don't go between 12 and 1 a swim club uses the lanes. It's expensive thought at 8,500 Pesos to use but you can use free if you registed thru the City portal and reserve a time. The pools are also free in Esatdo, but only a certain limited amount of free spots and I don't know which pools and the current schedule there. Hope this helps.

So my takeway of El Centro as of today is as follows: I am definitely more frightened about being in El Centro, but it won't stop me until I get knifed. You would think that seeing so many more girls out working on a Sunday, and some cute ones is great news, and yes for the mongers it is, but in reality it isn't, as there is a lot of desperation with women trying to make ends meet. And just not in Colombia, but everywhere. While in Mexico last week I did three street girls, and two of them had never worked before just like thie new one I met.

So besides the women who are desperate to survive and have a way to do it, you have all the others resorting to robbing others violently and reminiscent of the past in Colombia. And Johnny O was smart to stay within police presence like I did today. When there are no police around anytime of day in El Centro I won't be venturing out into these areas whereas before I would. The desperation based on my observations today and what I was told is very sad, and hopefully things will get better.

Anyways, tomorrow the Tomboy is coming over to stay with me for a few days, can't wait to jump her bones, and another day in paradise.

La isla is pumping. Closes at 4 am. I never saw it packed like it was last night. Lots of girls coming in with groups of guys. Also lots of girls working. Cover was 30 k!! It was absolute bonkers in there from 11 pm til closing. The after party at Paradise is from 4-6. Did not partake.

You could do better than 20 mil for a Chica, but you wouldn't want any one to see you going with a beached whale or skanked out Sacalero with their glue bag in one hand. Actually, there are lots of girls there who will go for 20 mil, especially the Venezuelans, and the locals are pulling them, but they are nothing to write home about.

People are so desperate right now that 20 mil for less than an hours work can be very appealing. There are girls selling coffee all day who are lucky to make 15-20 mil so if you think about it, some of them will jump on a chance to make a quick buck, but they have to be comfortable going with the guy. Also, nowadays most of the Chicas want to get out of Dodge when the sun goes down, hence there will be some Chicas willing to go for cheap who haven't had a client all day, and some of the women are so obese and disgusting I still haven't figured out who in the hell goes with them, hence there's some of the low budget market in my opinion.

And guys just can't show up in El Centro and expect to find a little gem without spending a lot of time on the ground observing and figuring out which ones to approach. I personally always look for a stray cat / loner, someone I've never seen there before, hence the luck I have at times.

Wow, so happy to be back. Arrived last night at 11 PM and was at my place by Midnight. Woke up and by 10 AM had the refrigerator full, everything un-packed, hit the ATM machine and withdrew 5. 4 Million Pesos, went to the Poblado Metro Station, loaded up my Civica, and arrived at ground zero at 10:30 AM, besides visiting again at 12:30 PM and again at 2:30 PM. I wanted to get some perspective after being gone a while.

This Sunday was not like any other Sunday I have ever observed at ground zero. Sunday's are always the slowest and worst days to be in El Centro for girls, but for some reason lots of times on Sundays I have good luck. Upon arriving at 10:30 AM, it was slim pickings, albeit seemed to be more girls out at that hour on a Sunday but I didn't like anything I saw so I called one of my regulars and she happened to be near by and met me in front of Hotel Nutibarra and we walked over to Hotel Deseos just down the block from the airport bus stop. She's early thirties and 5'11" tall, and slim, and a nympho, just what I was looking for to start the day and all in. I always have a difficult time understanding her Spanish, but understood enough and asked her about what had been going on over the past three months with all the robberies and video's that have been posted about here. She said there has been a heavy duty escalation of robberies over the past three months, with the difference being that instead of two or three guys now there are whole groups of guys like 6 to 8 attacking people. And apparently these groups are sometimes a mixture of both Colombians and Venezuelans working together which I found odd. The thing that she did say that was very alarming though was about how violent the robberies are nowadays with people getting knifed to death and not much said about it. She also said lots of the locals are also not visiting EL Centro as much anymore as well which makes perfect sense given that literally 100% of the victims are locals...

I was in el centro on Thursday and spent about 4 hours, not so much new in terms of new chicas but found my ATF paisa whom I have known for 3 plus years and she had a cute friend so why not right! I was thinking about stopping by centro this afternoon as I was shopping in Laureles but as it was coming up to 4 PM my better senses told me to start making my way driving home and glad I did as I got caught up in a protest on the regional which took a little over an hour to go 1 km.

And yes so true about the uptick in crime but not only in centro but Laureles and Poblado and other barrios.
