I also am an avid swimmer. It's been a while but the Medellin Aquatic Centre is beside the Stadium. It is huge. You will need a lycra bathing suit. And I think a cap though they may have waived it for me. It's been a while so you might want to check if that's right. Also if you swim in the big Olympic pool be warned that there are no ladders out. So for an old relic like me that can be a challenge. The locker situation was tricky also so make sure you don't take anything you don't want to lose. At least till you figure out the ropes.

See my earlier post, Unidad Deportes Bellen is my go to pool, totally different than Estadio and I know all the employee's, at least they all know me by name. They have baskets for your clothes and it's all locals that use the place.

Glad to find out there are other board members that like to get wet!

Stop worrying so much about what other people are doing.

If you prefer to keep your return ticket open and are concerned the airline will give you problems, solve the problem your way based on what works for your situation. If someone else solves it another way, which fits their situation, then be happy they found a solution. If someday their method causes them problems, don't worry about it. You're not their mother.

There is no hooker girl scout guide with all the steps to achieve higher ranks clearly spelled out. Not every chica takes the same path. I'm finally heading back to Medellin this week and just wanted to start another discussion topic I've had with a friend here before. Do ya'll have any experience or advice on where / how to find 8's, 9's, and 10's in Colombia?

I've scoured the usual channels and have only found strong 7's at best. I know hotter girls exist because when I go to the mall or higher-end restaurants I'll see the occasional knockout (8's and 9's) while walking around. And I understand everyone's scale is different, I'm saying a 10 is absolute perfection which is like 1 in a million, but 9's and 8's are basically drop-dead gorgeous but not 100% perfect for some reason. Like Shakira in her prime is a 8. 5, or Sophia Vergara in her prime is a strong 9 in my book esp if her body is all-natural. Do these girls even exist at the usual haunts or am I just not looking hard or being patient enough?

I swear even at higher-end places like La Isla or Gusto the highest I've seen is a strong 7. Do you basically just have to get lucky? You'd think in a country with as many beautiful women as here that there'd be more high-end options available (even if it's at a higher price) but I guess they're reserved for the politicians and futbol stars and drug lords or something and tourists don't have the channels open and available to these top-shelf girls?

All the hotties are way overrated. I was talking with a German guy in El Centro the other day and he was showing me pictures of two of his "hotties" and said one dumped him because she found a younger better looking guy, and the other kept asking for things and money all the time.

This reply is spot on. Most classy upper strata 10's (using your definition of what a 10 is) are not available for P4 P or one night stand. It is like going to LA and expecting to hook up with a 20 year old 10 from Beverly Hills (or some rich neighborhood). Highly unlikely. Most won't even be seen taking to an extranjero. Go to the Metro station. Or a restaurant. Or pretty much anywhere. Medellin has more 10's per square inch than almost anywhere on earth. If you're not seeing any 10's you probably need to look at Europe or Asia.
