Also, many places in Colombia offer a menu in English. Many times I've been asked if I want a menu in English.
Is today International Give Incorrect Information Day? Or did you just take it upon yourself to give out bad info?

If you want flat your options are Belen, Laureles and the low rent part of El Centro.
As for Colosal, with almost 1500 reviews on restaurant guru they average 4.4 stars. Seriously, you need to stop making stuff up to pretend you've been here. There are actually people who want to know about Medellin and making up stories isn't helpful.

For those thinking of visiting Medellin and for those already here, be warned that an annoying holdover from the demonstrations is random holes in the streets and along sidewalks. The demonstrators removed water meter covers, manhole covers, and paving stones all over the city, especially along main thoroughfares. The demonstrators used the objects as projectile weapons in some cases and in other cases it was random vandalism like the graffiti and paint bombs tossed at public buildings. The sidewalk hazards are reminiscent of Mexico, the Dominican Republic and other less developed countries. You have to be really careful. Some of the holes are genuine leg breakers.

I will be there in 2 weeks. What is the situation with the curfew? Is everything open regular hours now? I'll be staying right next to Lleras park. Question guys: what is the best way to find females who like to party? Bring them back our place, have them drink, dance, have fun. What's the best way to find the party animals?

I found, however, that the escorts are eager to upsell from prices as low as $30/ HR and if you dangle the prospect of repeats, they are likely to turn in a good performance.
I'm an old fart and all about repeats. Works for me.

Posts: 1945Yes, that's right. Was meaning book for dbl occupancy. Thanks for the reply. I don't really care if its Hotel Nutibara or another TBH. I have seen Nutibara in Booking.com and it looks nice from the exterior that's all. But any reasonable hotel would be great. I just don't fancy staying in a shorttime room or a hotel that feels like a "Carcel".

I spent several nights in Gusto, so I know what it is. Overpriced? Yep. But it's a party. And to be honest, that's what I look for. I would not spend 600 K on any girl there. But I will blow through a lot on drinks and fun. And if the right girl is there, with a good connection, for far less than 600 K for one hour, great. If not, so be it. I'll shop through Lleras on my way back to my room.
By no means am I an expert in MDE! Any and all suggestions welcome. Just know that I like the actual companionship, party and flirting just as much as the act.
As for La Isla, I spent one night there. It was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised the meseros are not up your ass all night. I think I was just too passive that night. I never found "the one". But definitely had fun. Walked out with far more cash than I expected. I'd definitely be interested in another similar club.
Centro: on a short visit and with my inexperience in MDE, it's a bit intimidating. Not really out of physical fear but in my mind, I liken it to the SG game in Tijuana. SGs there are a bit of a last option for me.

I'll look for a couple of photos of my Pinky from that time. The foto of her laying in the bed is at the Nutibara room, the other three fotos are from Hotel Boterro around the corner. Slapshot's Pinky still rules the roost now because my Pinky left for Ecuador, but when whe was in MDE, she was as good as Pinkies get, jajaja and it's obvious where she gets her name. I say that in the spirit of friendly competition of this "game" we all play. She was the prepago with whom I invented the "working girl's bet" which you cannot lose. Too good to post here now and for everyone to get there hands on it. For a select few perhaps. And oh, Surfer, the bet only works if you do anal so would not be interested, but you are missing out, jajaja. It also helps if you do drugs during sex, jajajaja, I am a deviant.
Also, I divide my time in Medellin, really the whole world, as pre-Covid and after. A lot has changed so I would verify any pre-Covid info. The desk guy I just mentioned spoke English and worked the evening shift. Try phoning and simply ask, Do you allow guests?

Get a uber set from your table and wait, it was eazy to get a ride up, but we stood outside no chairs for close to an hour waiting for someone to accept that pick up.
And they did one thing I liked, a menu in Ingles wowwwwww that was a 1st in Colombia LOL.
Its not a horrible place, I was just hoping for a great steak.

Would be a great place for a non puta wedding, I'm guessing the puta sitting across from us was a major distraction, she looked like a 25 yo Donatella Versace.
Swollen lips and face, but that's the kind of people those places typically attract, the food was not very good, not unlike the Signature room in Chicago.
https://www.signatureroom.com/ great ambiance but that's about it just another "empty suit" don't expect Michelin starred haute cuisine.
You're paying for the view, superficial crap, for mostly superficial people.
If you want a great meal go to Lucio Carbon y Vino, and order the Ribeye and the strawberry and blackberry soda wowwww, killer meal, great people, if you get a chance to chat with Fillipe the mgr sooper cool guy!
BTW we drove around Bello looking for new high rise bldgs, Bello looks cool I didn't see any nightlife.
But much too hilly for me, I want to walk or ride a bicycle to the store.
I guess a bldg with good security would be OK.
We saw several high rise, most looked kinda old, 1 new construction, but didn't look like it had 80 k usd condos.
I'm guessing we drove around 90% of Bello including all the way to the dead end at the top, did we miss your place?
I could live there, but I would want some place flatter, maybe Envigado?
Any place but El Poblado LOL.
Evigado is my favorite.

One of my favorite movies, cult or not. Check it out if you like sick humor.
