I did. In my case, my card was rejecting the transactions. Tried multiple cards. SE banned my account because of suspicious activity. I had a few exchanges with them. Every time a transaction failed, the site would disable my account automatically. The support on email was very supportive. Eventually I bought a prepaid card from US.

I had faced the same issues with my different credit cards. Tried creating account with different emails, vpn etc. Each time they suspended my accounts without any reasons. I then paid using google play store payments with debit card attached to it which worked fine. However, the amount was bit higher when using play store. I got frustrated and asked them to refund immediately which they did eventually after lot of emails.

I am skeptical about places like Paharganj etc. There rooms are cheap, but I am not sure about the security.

Yes, the payment does not work via website.

You can try downloading the app from Google Play Store or Apple Appstore. The payment goes through via the app. I faced the same issue on website, but it worked for me on the Android app.
