I should of mentioned I have been to Medellin several times so I'm aware that $100 goes a long ways. $50 is pushing it but $100 plus a possible tip / cab fare / food drinks etc is too much especially with the current exchange rate and the state of Colombia as a whole. I'm far from a seasoned vet but thankfully through some quick trial and error, this board, and some friends I have made in the states who are from Medellin. I have realized the $100+ airbnb, high end strip clubs, instagram girls etc is completely unnecessary.
