But I guess for me it was different. Also it never affected my work. Rather I was relaxed and gave me relief from stress and other things. Ugly Lucy would suck all the stress out of me LOL.

I too was in a similar situation as yours. I ventured into mongering recently and found myself not able to focus on my work or anything else in the first few days. Also, my initial encounters weren't as good as I expected them to be which again used to put me off. But what worked for me like a charm was building a good routine, I wake up early and hit the gym daily no matter what. This helped me immensely in channeling my mental and physical energy towards other things. As fellow brothers suggested, I too feel moderation is the key. I monger only during the weekends and see it as treating myself with something good after a week of hustle.
