Try staying in zostel or any hostel which 4 -6 bed co gender dorm (both male and female are allowed in same dorm room. I prefer zostel as they have good activity roster.

If possible instead of Indian / caucasian babe try spending time with NE / Korean / Japanese girls. Atleast I got lucky thrice. Pushkar, Manali and Leh.

I know. It can be a very silly mistake. And even I don't make advance payment. The reason I'm breaking the rule for this chick is that she is not from Bangalore. She is making extra travel plans because of me. So in any case I had to pay her travel charges or advance. Its gamble agreed, one which I would never take for a local contact.

Share your UPI ID and ask them to initiate the chat, don't share number.

Not sure about anonymous upi payment but whenever I need privacy, I use Amazon pay gift card. Hope this helps.
