The last posts are a few years old. Any updates from Asmara? Is Aiba still open? Or any other suggestions especially for weekdays.

I understand what you mean. The prices are as mentioned but at the time I was there there was a black market for exchanging money. It gave 3-4 time the amount of nakfa for usd compared ti the banks. Now days the black market is basically gone. The government cracked down hard on it a while back. However hotel and food prices are the same, don't know about the girls though. What you can do is pay them in hard currency 10-20 usd out to do it, but I don't know fore sure.
