2) Oh please. Can I give you a 30 page compare and contrast essay. RTFF- given that it's your first trip you should probably go to Sosua. Hang out in the bars and ask the other gringos. If you are planning to make the chicas the focus of your trip- mostly guys are helpful.
3) 1500 is prolly a little out of date but not impossible on an afternoon where no one is busy- sadly what you pay is what you negotiate and really hot ones are thin on the ground- I am also guessing your Spanish is non existent.
4) How TF can anyone answer this. Do you like steak or Hamburg.
5) get an extra wallet. When you go out leave your normal wallet in the safe. Take what you think you will generously need and add 50% and take 1 piece only of plastic that will work in an ATM- bring your own condoms and little packs of lube from stag shop are also a good idea. If things go south in the room. Just walk. You do not want any kind of altercation here. Period.
6) right now no covid rules much. Some places will need to see your vaccine record and you need a mask in stores make sure you have both with you- PCR test you will need to get back home. The rates are rising so they may put curfews in again but I would doubt it. The death rate is still falling. I would check DR1 to see what's happening.
PM me if you like -though there are lots of guys with more experience than me.

Posts: 226You know what rather than telling you to read the forum as you can get the information asked from there I'll answer your question best I can. I'm going to suggest you stay in Sosua and not at a resort as you can't bring girls back there. The hotels you should stay at is either Casa Valeria or Sosua Inn why those are the nicer ones. Why pick Sosua well it has the girls there and that is reason for your trip you mention adventures like kite surfing unless you plan to do this everyday no reason to stay in Cabarete as it close enough to take a taxi when you want to do that. You have the price right if you go the higher end of that should get you 90 percent of girls there are girls that will say no up to you if you want to pay more. What they look like on a rating scale depends on the dude so can't say. I don't do adventures so not sure how much they cost but would say if you drink and do 2 or 3 girls a day then plan 200 hundred dollars a day keeping mind you are new and will do something stupid with your money. No quarantine. I know the vets here don't like to answer question but I'm in my condo in Sosua bored checking all the forum and say this and thought why not.

Posts: 5Cabarete vs Sosua Vs Boca Chica
Hello everyone,
This will be my 1st ever trip to Caribbean. I am travelling solo from Canada and my plan is to be there for 8-10 days. Do almost all the adventures and fuck chicas everyday.
Planning to go on last week on Feb 2022 but I am open.
Now my confusion is, where should I go? I am leaning towards cabarete as there is a lot of adventures there (kite surfing and all) and it is not too far for Sosua as well.
I read the forum here and got a little bit of idea but still what I am confused with is as follows:
1 which resort shall I book and will I be able to bring chicas into my resort room? If not, what will be my best option to spend a night with chicas?
2 Which city shall I pick? And why?
3 I know hookers cost somewhere between 1500 pesos to 3000 pesos. But does that gets me a Hot one or just an average ones? How much does the Hot ones cost anyways?
4 How much money do I need in hand after booking resort and flight if I am doing all the adventures and fucking chicas everyday?
5 Anything else do I have to keep in mind?
6 Any rules with COVID? Like quarantine or anything like that?
Your advise is truly appreciated.

Posts: 312So. Who roams a little?
I am down here for a long time and I am trying to establish regulars because things have deteriorated. Maybe not as dramatically as some say. Are there any places where there are street walkers in Puerto Plata or are there Casas (no interest in Blackbeards) - is it worth a run to Santiago or are there other options not far away.

Posts: 59Yes, I got to agree with this 100%. I first started making five month long winter visits to Sosua about twelve years ago.

I remember the old Bermuda Bar, the Latin and the old City Lights and many more. It was a different town, different vibe, it was a Dominican town with Dominican flavor, culture and excitement.
There were more nice quality women roaming around PC than you could ever handle. Last time I visited was in 2019, and even though I had seen the whole situation going to hell in a hand cart for several years, I was shocked at what the fun little town on the north coast had morphed into.
As Tempoecorto says, plastic and chrome sports bars full of f**king tv screens! And the quality and pricing of the girls I won't even go into, it has been so messed up by the weekend crowds as has been well reported.
I still find the climate enjoyable and the little town town still has some natural charm and attractions. It can be a easy place to spend some time while avoiding a nasty winter back home. But as a destination for quality, economical and fun time with the local ladies it has lost pretty much all the old advantages and charm it used to have.
Like so many such places around the planet. Small, enjoyable towns with pleasant environments and enjoyable situations are becoming more difficult to find as they become consumed by plastic, chrome and 'progress' .
Oh, for the good old days. Spoken like the old man I am. LOL.

It appears to me that Sosua (and the DR) has for all practical purposes, become a colony of the US. Same copycat dumb sports bar with 500 screens. Soon the island would be like Puerto Rico, with no one wanting to go there. I do not want to sound like a broken record but I sure miss the place when Bachata music used to be piped out to the streets. A poorer place but with a lot of character, the island used to be. Ah well.

Yea. He put a lot of money into that place. But it appears he can't attract the casino crowd. Too bad for him.

The guy spent millions and has no customers. Bailees and the Casino have the action locked down. He needs to market his business.

Posts: 1657This 56th Super Bowl is on February 13,2022. Usually this Sunday coincides with the seasonal peak, and always a great day to meet. As of January 31, the Dom Rep government will require locals to get three jabs for a full schedule.

Posts: 6420Ha ha, well you guys are going to have the displeasure of having me in your midst come early next year. I am 90% leaning towards the DR for a long stay, first away from home since covid struck. Beach locations of course: Sosua, Punta Cana and Boca Chica. Dominicanas and Hatianas watch out!
