Just got back home from spending five days in Hua Hin. First trip to Hua Hin and second trip to Thailand. First trip was in 2018 to Phuket. Stayed at the Anchan Hotel on Soi Poon Suk, about a block from Soi Bintabaht. Hotel was nice, but no lift and stairs can be treacherous if you have had one too many. It was a short trip and my original plan was divide my stay between Hua Hin and Pattaya. I liked Hua Hin enough to stay the entire five days in Hua Him. Hua Hin is still not very busy with bars being lucky if they get four or five customers a night. Prices were about 2000 baht long time, but I am sure you can get a lower price if you want to haggle. I never paid a bar fine since all bars close at midnight and would just take a girl back to my room after the bar closed. The quality of the girls on Soi Bentabaht is not great. But it is not hard to find one with a great body. One of the girls took me to the night market one night for dinner and so we passed by Soi 80 and Soi 94. The bars on those Soi's looked more active but the quality of women did not make me want to venture there. Understand that I am 67 and in good shape but prefer a quieter bar. Never had a problem finding a companion in the bars around my hotel. Plenty of massage places around too. I only got one massage while in Hua Hin from a cute young girl. Hand job was offered at the end and I am sure more was available with negotiation. One word of caution, several bars have obvious ladyboys working there from what I saw.

Anyone in Hua Hin familiar with this place. I'm planning on visiting Hua Hin and I thought I check this place out. But on Google maps it says it's temporarily closed. Any info on this place whether it's open or closed and the quality would be much appreciated.

If you go to Hua Hin for punting the old haunts are no longer the places to be.

Soi Bintabaht aka Walking Street is on life support.

Tho the massage around there on Soi 57 and Soi Poonsuk is very much alive.

Soi 80 is much better with lots of girls, but still only 50% of what they used to be.

Sou 94 tho is where the action is now.

From the railway line to the bend is packed with bars and restaurants, as well as live music venues with girls available. Saw many a Mamasan and got known from elsewhere now have setup there.

Yes, closed for good.

The one operator planned a restart during covid for high season but cancelled it.

The last activity I saw was a movement towards a long distance ferry, Bangkok, Pattaya, Hat Yai!

I think it was already shut down well before covid. It was one of those projects that seemed good in theory but in practice it never really took of and the few operators that started it, soon abandoned it again.

Long time lurker. I have been active for years on a Dutch forum that now has shut down.

I will probably visit Sam Roi Yot for two weeks next summer. Anyone know of any good massage shops in that area? I will report back.

Sorry, when I am in Thailand, I have zero interest in Chinese girls, only Thai girls, or sometimes Vietnamese when I can find them.

I have not ran into those Islamic girls in Hua Hin yet.

I took the train a few years ago and it was so stress-free and pleasant. I had a ridiculously cheap first class ticket on one of the first class luxury trains which included even a lunch and a drink as part of the ticket rice.

When you arrive at Hua Hin station, don't forget to have a look at the Royal Waiting Lounge. It is really very special.

This hotel was when I was there pre-Covid in 2019, and it was touted as being one of the better places to find ladies. Good luck.

I was in Hua Hin a few years ago (pre covid) and found my ladies at the many bars in the Bintabaht area. I took them to the apartment I rented near the station for either ST or LT and had the time of my life.
