After several years of mongering, I finally lost my scam-ginity (virginity of never getting scammed). Not my proudest moment, but since it probably came down to saving my life or losing some cash, I believe sharing my experience will help brothers learn a thing or two.
So I got in touch with a chick through another monger friend, who found her on some app. The chick claimed to be a lactating mother. My friend had been in touch with her for some time but had never met her himself. Some other friend of his had even done a VC confirmation and found nothing fishy. She agreed for 4 k for 2, and given her looks etc, it seemed quite reasonable. Since my friend had been talking to her for a while, I decided to take a plunge into an unverified contact. Before going there, I asked for her pics which she sent and looked genuine. Simple sober, without make up etc. Asked her to do VC and she readily agreed. That gave me a lot of confidence because normally chicks don't do VC readily and that too free of cost, if it's really a scam. The girl on VC matched the pictures. However, I noticed some disturbance in the video and she had muted her mic, which made me suspicious. I asked her to call again and she did. Again same chick and this time, the video was much clearer. Since it was all on telegram, I discarded my suspicion thinking it's just bad network. That could've been my first red flag but it was easily worth ignoring. Side by side, she messaged my friend that why is your friend asking for WhatsApp video call when I've done VC on telegram blah blah blah. I thought that yeah, maybe I'm being overcautiously annoying.
Anyway, decided to reach a certain restaurant in Daryaganj, where she had asked me to reach, saying that she'll pick me from there. Nice of her. When I was stuck in traffic, she waited patiently and kept coordinating, and finally when I reached the place, she coordinated and reached to pick me up. When I saw her, I was happy that she was the same chick, figure and eyes etc. As the face was partially covered with mask. Chit chatted a bit on the way. She took me through the by-lanes of Daryaganj where again I was getting slightly suspicious, but since it had enough crowd around, I felt secure till then.
Once we finally reached her place, she took off her mask and I was glad to see her. Looked quite pretty and simple sober although she was a bit chubby as a recent mother. Flat was a decent 1 BHK, looked homely, clean and tidy. I used the washroom after which she invited me to move inside the bedroom. There was just a curtain separating living room and bedroom but no door. She sat on the edge of the bed. I took off my jacket and sat next to her. Glanced around the room which was quite neatly set up. There was a cradle on the side. I felt very happy that my lactic quench will finally be satisfied as I've been fantasising about this kink for a long time without any success. Wrong. Everything could go wrong.
Now brace for the weird part.
She kept looking at her phone so I asked her if she's nervous? She said no. Doing it for first time or since recently only? Said no. Expecting anybody later or after me? Said no.

She said that no, there's plenty of time, where are we going. Since Johnny was ruling, I thought what the heck, given her looks, I'll be taking 2 shots anyway, so like a fool I handed her 4 k.
Now, after payment, I moved to kiss her neck again while sitting beside her, but same resistance. I moved to kiss her cheeks, again same withdrawal. All the while she's fubbing on her phone switching between WhatsApp and god knows what. I said that now the payment has also been done, now we should start. She said that yeah, we will. I was getting annoyed at this point so I said that I have to leave early due to curfew so let's better start. Again while fubbing on her phone, she uttered the magic words "5 min ruk jaao" (wait for 5 minutes.). That is when my brain no. 1 finally took charge and things started to fall in place and I saw all the red flags.
Since Johnny was ruling all this while, I had completely ignored that when I had put my hands in hers, they were so warm that I didn't notice that her palms were actually sweaty in Delhi's fucking winters. When I had put my hand on her back, her back was too warm as well, perhaps even sweating inside. There were no family pictures inside the place. There was a cradle but I can't believe that she was out there all this while picking me up, and even after returning, I didn't hear a single cry from the 'baby'. She had mentioned to my friend that baby is 1 yo, but told me it's 2 yo. There was a cat litter but no cats. No cousin exiting the place who could have been taking care of the baby. When I asked why to wait for 5 minutes? She said "bas ruk jaao" (just wait). I looked at her phone screen which she so beloved held tightly, there was some Sameer 'typing' in WhatsApp. When she saw me looking, she turned off the screen. When his message came, she immediately swiped it from the screen. I asked what's happening? Why are we still waiting? She said that she just has to make a CALL. I asked what call? She mumbled something-something-has to inform that she's safe.
It was the final nail in the coffin for me. I realized that should shit hit the ceiling, it wasn't just my two phones, watch and wallet that was at stake, it was my fucking life that I had to run for. I said that I also have to make a call, picked my jacket and went to living room. Without even wasting the time to wear socks, I simply slid the shoes and ran downstairs hoping that nobody climbs the stairs and catches me off-guard. I exited on the street and got out as fast as I could. Waited at the end of the lane to see if someone enters her building staircase, watching while pretending to be on call. But couldn't notice exactly which door was hers to know if someone visited. Anyway, I exited to the main road, called my friend, explained him the whole situation and he too felt that something was very fishy. He also advised me to get the hell out of not just her place but the entire locality and anything could happen.
I swiftly walked to my car when she called but I didn't pick up. Finally, felt some respite given the situation. She messaged my friend that I was acting so weird and I rushed out and was nowhere to be found. Said that she even came downstairs all the way to find me. Although I hadn't noticed her anywhere while I was there waiting and pretending to be on call. My friend explained her that he's (I'm) not comfortable at your place. Requested that can we move to a hotel instead. She said that I should have told her so, instead of rushing out. Blah blah blah. Said she's not comfortable with hotel, won't feel safe there. My friend explained that I have in fact given money, so what could I do worst. But she wouldn't listen. Instead kept talking like she paid me and got scammed. Later deleted all our telegram messages in my chat as well as friend's. Perhaps it was her frustration of not being able to have looted me for much more.
I retrospect if I was getting scared unnecessarily or what, but given the locality, the religious angle, her demeanour and all the red flags combined, I decided it was best to consider 4 k as 'cost of living' and immediately retreat from there. In hindsight, I think about all the possible scenarios: she could have called her husband or some goons there to loot me or beat me up inside the flat and nobody would have even heard me scream. Or worst, husband could have barged in and claimed that I somehow are*p*the his wife or some wild accusations of such nature and people of that locality would have beaten me to death before I could even utter a word or police could intervene or I could call help. Phewww.
Irrespective of whether I possibly missed out on a genuinely great experience or got saved from a physical and social horrific disaster, I thank my stars that I returned home safe / unharmed to write this post.
Lessons learnt (apart from the obvious no-advance rule):
1. If you're meeting a stranger, never promise or agree for multiple shots. Agree for 1 shot, and at most, keep it tentative that if you like service, you 'may' take another shot.
2. Never pay before the deed to a 'stranger' no matter how much the insistence. Make it a dealbreaker. I've paid before deed to the known / repeat ones and chicks have serviced more happily after payment before deed. Still I'd advise payment after deed only.
3. Never visit an unknown area, especially that's shady. Not alone, not with a friend. Chances are, it's their turf, and should it come to that, it won't be 1 guy who will visit, to beat you up. It'll be enough number to scare and cause chaos in your brain and body.
4. Always watch out where you're being taken, and look for positive and negative signs around as you walk. If it looks like a place where something bad could possibly happen, be reminded about Schrodinger's cat. Retreat immediately.
5. Never carry more / extra cash than required. Don't leave mongering to good chances that you might get a threesome or foursome for which extra cash may be required. If your plan is a twosome or fixed number of shots, take only that much cash and your brain might keep you (as well as your Johnny) in check when you have only limited cash. Unless you're going to a 5 star or a known contact, do not carry any valuables like watch, ring etc. Leave it at home or car if possible. Keep the cash also split in different pockets should it be required as an excuse of low-cash / no-cash in a given situation, especially when you're out for an expedition and not visiting a known contact.
P.S. - Please reserve your judgements. I don't want lectures on where I went wrong, what I could have avoided and the likes. I've been in the game enough and even I used to smirk on scam reports thinking "how stupid". It is only when you go through such a situation yourself that you realize that your brain tends to glitch more while you're actually going through that experience, as compared to when you're simply reading it on your screen sitting comfortably in the safety of your home. I have shared this experience only so that fellow brothers could avoid similar situations.
