Can some explain how these work? What is there is a false positive. FYI I am poked with covishield twice.

I have not noticed Thai guys being refused entry into Nana Plaza. I see them there often.

On Spanky's, my first experience there a few nights ago since some of those go-go bars reopened as beer bars or clubs went like this:

I know several of the bar managers, mamasans and many of the girls. I assure you they are checking to see how much they can get away with and still pack the place with customers willing to accept anything after the long break.

I have no illusions about anything any one of us saying here leading the charge for resisting and walking when the bar's policy and the girls' behavior starts smelling even slightly of a classic scam these days.

But there has never been a better time for us to be setting the rules for the "New Normal" to come.

Don't squander it. The bars and girls certainly are not squandering the moment and opportunity.

I started the day just walking around and visiting malls and massage shops. I visited the massage shops mostly to see what the talent looks like and pricing. Again, Golden Satang (close by Soi Cowboy) seemed pretty enticing, same 2 pretty girls working there today. But I wanted to check out DokiDoki and Daisy Dream today. Walked up Sukhumvit to DokiDoki and saw the lineup. I didn't feel the price justified the quality of girls. There were a few other shops in the area, but nothing worth mentioning. She seemed super chill, lots of smiling and we seemed to click. So I took her back to my hotel for LT, which she drove us to in her own car (first time experiencing this).

Back in my hotel, she was able to get 3 amazing shots out of me in the span of about 2 hours. I was spent. Pillow talk was really fun. We were talking about pricing and what she thought about customers negotiating. She said she's pretty much already set the minimum rate for herself, so she doesn't like the price being haggled. Also said that if the customer wants LT, but also wants to take her to dinner or club, it's more exhausting for her and would charge more based on that. She told me that pre-Covid, standard prices were 3 k ST and 6 k LT, which are slightly more than I remember. So it might be easy to negotiate the 2. 5 k /6 k girls down a bit, especially the later it gets at night. Unfortunately, that's probably not the case for some of the more popular ladies there.

Anyways, we really hit it off. She told me to contact her when I'm not busy so we can go get some coffee and she can show me around town. I'll definitely be taking her up on that offer.

I doubt all LTs will be as good as her. I'll try out FiwFans, too. But I plan on making Thermae my main watering hole.

Cool! I hope we can hang out at Thermae Cafe some time. I don't necessarily think you need to make eye contact first. You can walk up to them, ask their name and their ST / LT price. If they DON'T like you, they might quote you an outrageous price (10 k). It seems 2. 5 k /6 k is normal with a few offering 2 k /4 k.

Oh, that's a surprise. My Thai friend didn't have any problems coming into Nana with me. Maybe he doesn't know the local options well. But he said 1 pop GFE sessions for him normally starts at $150 US. I was very startled since for tourists, it usually starts at around $30 US, $60 for upscale experience (like nuru).

Strolled over to Thermae and spent a good amount of time there. It opens at 8 PM, so I waited about 10 minutes outside. It gets pretty busy pretty quickly since they close at 11 PM. A Thai friend from LA also met up with me there and was impressed. He's only used to going to the local markets available to Thais, which he told me costs about $150 US for 1 shot GFE session. I was very surprised as this is normally the LT fee I'm used to (approx 4 k-6 k). As we walked around, none of these girls would take him as a customer. I felt kind of bad. Some wouldn't even talk to him. It was a very surprising experience. It would be one thing if they didn't first see his face (like in massage shops). But in Thermae, where you've already seen each other's faces, I didn't understand why they'd refuse service.

Interestingly we were probably at Thermae at the same time, I was the farang in the straw hat. As a complete nube I chatted to another white chap visiting from LA, and his advice was to see if a lady would make eye contact before approaching her. And that they tended to favour Japanese.

As none of the 3 ladies I found attractive would meet my eye, I walked out. Real pity that I don't know how to connect there as my hotel is literally round the corner (on soi 15).
