I am not sure of the drinking age, but you have to be 20 to work in or go into a bar. 3 years ago was my nephew's first time to Thailand. He was 17 at the time. You are paying the bar for a particular drink. The bar is giving her a commission on said drink. So it only matters if you intend to get what you actually are paying for. You do not have to buy a drink to get her time.

Well, I am not just paying for her time. I have wasted a lot of time and money in my day having just "paid for time".

I will pay for her time and 1-2 rather specific acts of sex to take place with her in my room during that time.
