I totally agree with this, you cannot be a Cheap Charlie with a top of the rung girl that is in demand. Standard practice to buy them a drink once they sit down. Investing 1 or 2 drinks in a hottie is well worth it so you can judge what your next move is.

I don't have to buy drinks for the girls and the girls rarely ask for drink in Scandallo which is considered by many with the most top of the rung girls in Brazil.

I figure it is both of those reasons in addition to not ruining peoples' livers. Imagine if you had to go to work everyday and drink 10 shots of alcohol. Also, just because they are working in a bar does not mean they are drinkers. Not everyone wants to drink alcohol. Most of the time that I go into a bar I will drink club soda. Every blue moon I will get Sang Som. I have bottles on the bar in my room in Pattaya that have sat there over 10 years unopened. Most chicks do not even drink when they come over. They prefer water.
