The last reports are coming from people that enjoy paying ladydrinks instead of fucking the girls, I wouldn't take any conclusion based on these recent reports.

My word, this debate is tedious. It happens on almost every page of this forum every few months, some withered old expat telling others they're doing it all wrong with Yoda-like certainty. 'Pay too much, you do'. Yawn.

FYI I've fucked 11 different girls in 11 days, not bad for someone who doesn't enjoy fucking the girls. Buying ladydrinks and fucking aren't mutually exclusive.

Really depends on the girl. There are quite a few gogo bars in Pattaya that have free bottles of alcohol available to the girls. Beach Club is the one that comes to mind where you see girls just sitting at the free alcohol table taking shot after shot and by 11 pm they're hammered! One of my favorite girls is an alcoholic and she works at Beach Club because she wants free booze.

There are bars where the ladies have free Sangsom, where management operates under the theory that customers like drunk ladies.

So, the ladies start the night swigging Sangsom. I used to see that on Soi 7.

But, it's not common anymore.

If you ever go to a Thai bar where customers buy drinks by the bottle, you will see Thai ladies with a large bottle of Sansom and many bottles of soda. At the end of the night, the bottle will be almost full, but there will be many empty bottles of soda.

There has to be a low alcohol version for lady drinks as they simply cannot be in the position where they have to drink full strength alcohol every night and in large quantities.

I would suspect virtually every bar in Thailand sells lower alcohol versions of lady drinks when needed.

Really depends on the girl. There are quite a few gogo bars in Pattaya that have free bottles of alcohol available to the girls. From what I have read and heard for most of my mongering life, there are many, many, many punters who either want or really need the girls they take to be as close to falling down drunk or comatose as possible in order to get what they want from them in the room. I agree with your take on it. Not my thing at all.

Why not name the bar to help those who are upset at buying watered down drinks?

There has to be a low alcohol version for lady drinks as they simply cannot be in the position where they have to drink full strength alcohol every night and in large quantities.

Because that would be useful information, unlike what his reports are about! Hopefully soon we can just book a ticket land and have fun without all the smoke screens! But seems to be getting a bit better, also people need to check with their airlines about health insurance some airlines it comes with tickets, for example I was looking at Emirates airline and it says (I think) 25 k Covid insurance is included!

Anyone who spends much time at bars in Pattaya knows that tequila shots for ladies are watered down.

You see a customer buy 10 shots for a lady, she will drink them, make a show of being drunk, and then sober up the moment the customer leaves.

The mamasan worked at many bars. But she was just telling me the standard practice in Pattaya bars.

It got so bad with watered down tequila that I brought bottles of real tequila to a bar for my personal use, and paid the bar by the shot for my tequila.

I think Mr E. Is fine with people buying lady drinks to socialize and have fun. However, he believes people are buying lady drinks for the wrong reason. They think that buying more LD's will improve their chance to barfine the girl that they like.

It was not my belief, but what I gathered from SL's reports. Was I wording myself wrong? How were you able to get what I was saying, but many others understood it as I was saying not to buy drinks at all?

I even mentioned that I would once in a while buy a drink AFTER the chick showed me what she was about or when I was having fun with her. I would not just walk in and say I have to buy a drink for that pretty girl over there, then she might like me and let me barfine her as it seems SL and Sam were doing in several cases.

It is like walking onto a car lot giving a non-refundable down-payment only to be told this car is not for sale. Walk in, do a quick test drive, then put some money down when you realize this car will fulfill my needs. Don't throw money at it hoping it will change from not for sale to for sale, when you can find that out in the beginning by simply asking.

Exactly.. And there is nothing wrong with that. It is only something wrong with believing the more drinks you buy the chick will decide to go with you when you still have to pay her anyway. If she is going then she is going from the beginning and not because of the 3 140 baht drinks you bought her (earning her what from 60 baht to 150 baht?) versus the 1000 baht barfine and 2500 baht you would have to pay her.

The cost of a lady drink is for the time they spend with you. I personally don't care what they drink or if they tip it on the ground.

In most bars you don't have to buy a drink for 15 minutes of chat time. In some bars if there is no drink in front of the girl or if the glass is empty then the mamasan will make her move on no matter how much she wants to stay and chat.

Maybe buying drinks made some sense in the days when you could then take the girl to your hotel FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT. Since then the policy shifted from whole night to short time. Recently it has shifted again from short time to maybe not even that (no sex).

Not a big loss anyway, girls that were staying the whole night were basically sleeping the whole night. Most of the time it's better to have them out of your room and sleep alone after having fucked them twice in a two hours laps time.
