Just curious since I'm coming to Phuket for the first time soon, but why are freelancers better than the bar girls? In Angeles city, I always found bar girls seemed cleaner than freelancers and they got regular checkups.

Definately not. Getting 1000 without a problem. If you're quoted something silly, you can usually get it down to 1 K. Why pay more if it just takes asking?

I have had girls from 1 K to 2000 in Pattaya. The beach freelancer often quotes 1500 which comes down to 1000 in 10 seconds, but I prefer girls from TF and gogo bars where they initially quote 2000 and come down to 1500. Hence I said 1500 (depends on girls and from where one picks them up).

I'm here now. 1000 may be an opening offer on Beach Road, but 500 is often attainable. I had some offer me 500 straight up, one cute 500 lady even offered to make it a long shorttime. Do you look very eager?

The Gogo bars workers were always more for ST, unless that has changed recently. I was last in Pattaya on January 2020.

The barfines were always separate charges, and each bar charges independently from other bars. Also, as I recall there was never a barfine charge for FLs.

I saw on YouTube that shuttles take a few hours to get to Pattaya as they do not take toll ways whereas Taxis only take an hour and take tollways. Also, with a lot of luggage in hand I think a taxi may be better for me.

Buses also take toll ways I think. Toll ways are not always the fastest, it depends on traffic. I'd rather take the bus than a random taxi as the latter imbeciles often text while driving, although I'm not too reassured when the bus is driving on the elevated expressway: the parapet may be high enough to prevent a car from toppling over but not a higher vehicle like a bus.

A day in the life of a Pattaya ex-pat:

A massage lady came at 11 am. She specializes in balls massage so after 30 minutes of regular massage, she did my balls for an hour. I am beginning to think she likes doing that. But, no happy ending, I asked her not to.
