Posts: 698Definately not. Getting 1000 without a problem. If you're quoted something silly, you can usually get it down to 1 K. Why pay more if it just takes asking?

Posts: 2812Buses also take toll ways I think. Toll ways are not always the fastest, it depends on traffic. I'd rather take the bus than a random taxi as the latter imbeciles often text while driving, although I'm not too reassured when the bus is driving on the elevated expressway: the parapet may be high enough to prevent a car from toppling over but not a higher vehicle like a bus.

I think the girl quoted 1500 for herself I. E short time. 1500 for ST is sort of standard in pattaya now. You need to pay the bar management separately for taking away their staff, that is called bar fine. In BKK, it's around 600 (Nana plaza).

Posts: 51I'm not based in Pattaya, but just recently went to Fahrenheit and one girl said 1500. Worth it? I don't know. Personally, I think BKK has more quality girls. But for Pattaya, when compared to other areas, I think the quality of girls is still better at Walking Street.

Posts: 108Looking for daytime action and massage parlors
Just visiting from Bangkok where I actually live. First time since a while.
Any recommendations for a decent massage with extras? Doesn't have to be a young chick, just not a granny either. I know there are plenty massage places, but then there's always the odd one where you only get a massage (and a bad one on top).
And any other suggestions for daytime action? I know there's TF and all the apps, but I actually have some work to do while here, so I'd prefer something straightforward.
Thanks.

Posts: 5092A day in the life of a Pattaya ex-pat:
A massage lady came at 11 am. She specializes in balls massage so after 30 minutes of regular massage, she did my balls for an hour. I am beginning to think she likes doing that. But, no happy ending, I asked her not to.
Because at 2 pm, I went to Soi 6 and got a BBBJ CIM from a lady I know long time.
Afterwards, I went to the Empire Lounge in the Darkside for drinks with an older lady. After getting hammered, I went back to my condo.
At 8 pm, 2 ladies showed up for drinks. I cut the session short, because at 11 pm, the older lady came for an overnighter. She was really into it, had a complete personality change, wanted to fuck long time. Unfortunately, I was still hammered, so after a half hour, I passed out.
She left about 5 am, didn't wake me for payment. I sent her 2000 baht this morning, via bank transfer, because free sex is too expensive for me.

The Whitehouse Condotel has a small number of suites:

The location is excellent. The suites are large and comfortable and have really large kitchens. It's been years since I stayed there, but when I did the wi-fi was acceptably fast.
You could also consider the Baraquda:

Also features an excellent location, next door to The Avenue shopping area. They have some suites with a balcony overlooking the pool. Very contemporary decor. Probably more expensive than the Whitehouse.
Finally, consider renting a condo. These come in various sizes, but if you look around you can find a 50 square meter place with an efficiency layout and a balcony. Some even have a washer and a decent cable TV / internet package.

Posts: 2036I have not found a hotel in Thailand that has excellent WiFi. So far, all of them have unpredictable times when it gets slow and unsuitable for things like Zoom.

My solution has been to get a Thailand cell service SIM that allows you to use hotspot functionality. The plain vanilla DTAC service sold at BKK baggage claim area works fine for me. I only use hotel WiFi to backup my iPhone.
I must admit that WiFi at most hotels is much better than it was a few years ago, but still not excellent.

I always recommend the Wave Hotel on Beach Road directly south of the Hilton. The price is still expensive @$150 but it is quite nice when compared with the cost and look of the Hilton. GF, of course, though they must have ID to enter.

I checked out the Pattaya Hilton, and while it looks like a great place, a suite is about $220 US. I am partial to suites, but that seems expensive.

It does not have to be 4 or 5 star, but it must be GF. Breakfast is not important. For comparison, I stay in the Bless Residence in on Soi 33 in BKK (wonderful suites and very GF, for those who do not know the place. If you like a great breakfast, it is not for you, LOL).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Many thanks again, GM.

Posts: 93Bar fine in walking street
What's the usual barfine in agogo bar at the walking street? I visted two gogo bars last night, one quoted 1200 and the other quoted 1300. I was kinda surprised.
