If you are a newbie, they might try and take advantage of you. Paying up front does not mean you have a crap experience or get short changed, it all depends. If you are seeing a girl for the first time and paying her a lot of money for an all nighter, you have a lot to lose if she goes early or does not deliver. You need to manage that risk. Show her the cash or pay her half and then put it in the safe along with your wallet etc. I have been quite lucky so far in Dubai but you can't be complacent. Also, if you are a newbie, make sure you have condoms because she won't have any.

I left Dubai a few years ago for a break and return last month for a new business.
