Yes, Continental you are correct. In addition to your experience, there is the well known case of the uniformed law enforcement official who was caught on camera smoking weed in a cable car. The video was widely shared on social media and the national media outlets. It's beside the point but it later emerged that the party guy was in fact a probationary trainee rather than a full fledged officer. The point is there is video surveillance so you should not do anything you would not want to be put on blast.

Not just hidden. We're talking nanotechnology microscopic Hi-def cameras. They can't afford to put a $5 fan in the cars, but they have the money for $5000 cameras in every single gondola. Of every metrocable line.

Cameras are in so many places in Medellin but not in such an important location as inside the cable cars? Those cable cars are vastly important for transportation and needed for safety of passengers from other passengers and if there is a mechanical problem. I find that really impossible to believe just because you can not see that tiny camera.

There are several hundred metrocable cars. Other than the door hinges, there is nothing mechanical inside the car. If a passenger attacks another passenger inside the car, what use is a camera? Do they have trained eagles that can carry attack ferrets and drop them on the car, to crawl inside and subdue the attacker? The only place anyone can enter or leave a car, except by breaking the plexiglass and plunging to their death is at a station, which is fully staffed during hours of operation. They can't change the speed of the car.

In simpler terms there is zero benefit of installing several hundred wireless cameras with UV lighting (because otherwise they're useless after dark), plus hundreds of monitors, not to mention the manpower to simultaneously monitor every single one. It's a publicly supported transportation system. They don't have the money to spend on useless crap. They don't even have fans in the cars. Other than the Tranvia they won't even spend the money to put air conditioning on the trains.

I've done a photo shoot on the metrocable with a nude webcam model. I've gotten head on the metrocable. I find it credible and easy to believe that there could be hidden cameras aboard, but that's a pure guess. Could be your answer but I find it hard to believe that a worker at the metro station would go out of his way to "lie" about it to a customer, as you suggested. Maybe the definitive answer will appear soon. Inquiring minds would like to know. I will try to remember to ask next time I ride. I am not implying that it takes money to be in a happy relationship. Quality of time spent together is probably one of the best things a guy can show a chica, if he cares. I have chicas who would hang with me whether I gifted them or not, but I don't use that as the defining line of how I treat them.

I know when a chica buys me a pair of chanclas or some candy, that is like me buying her something worth ten times more. It's not about the monetary value, it's about giving and the spirit behind it.

Yes, they do. Back during covid a friend and I were approached by security saying that even in the cable car we have to wear our masks. We had them off for 90% of the journey and put them on near the end when we would get off at the station. I said look we have our masks on, what's the deal? The gentleman said he saw through the cameras that we did not before.
