Don't get fooled by her phd status. It's from some pvt institution in Bangalore and not any reputed institution. Anyone can do that kind of phd from private. She is very very short and chubby. There aren't any, if you are talking exclusively about 'North' Kolkata. Trust me, its my neighborhood and I've looked around.

North Kolkata is basically renowned for SG. Spas are non-existent.

If you go towards Lake Town side, you'll find these salon cum spas which offer (and sometimes encourage) extras. Quality is not that great though. There's MT Spa also.

And if you go towards Salt Lake side, you'll find plenty of proper Spas.
