Just trying to apply some more logic to the pricing strategy. LOL.
So what changed? One change is the club has been remodeled. Similar event occurred at La Isla in Medellin, that the cover is increased by 400% and the drink prices have increased significantly. Both places have no shortage of customers, so the price is not likely to come down. BTW, I have been to both places after remodel.

One possibility in the change of pricing structure, is some girl decided that they can/want to get the same amount of money with less work / sex. And that is fueled by mongers who want exclusive access. Another ISGer reminded me that sharing is cheaper that was the old way he is used to.
So when I take the above into consideration, FewDie's post have some truth to it. I am not saying I agree with everything he said.
If you have been to some of the KTVs in Asia, especially the high end ones. There is a sharing price that a girl will visit different tables/rooms for a fixed amount of time then move on. This is cheaper. If one decides to keep a girl and not allow the girl to be shared with others, then one has to pay a premium, and commits to a minimum number of hours regardless the amount of time you spent there.
Although there are girls telling me some locals pay that and I believe it but I won't genialize it. I think people are responding negatively to FewDie's generalization in his posts.

Posts: 153You got the "Four hands" special. A few clinicas offer it. Not sure if it's all the time or only on days they advertise it.

In my mind, I thought scandallo would be similar to Hong Kong in Tijuana for closing hours. Never really closed. I finished a session at 0500 am Sunday morning. We exit the room, whoah, the cashiers are gone, and the hallway lights are turned off. I used the phone light to walk around. The entire lobby was completely dark. No cashiers, no garotas, nada, no dozens of maseros, no half dozen security guys buzzing around. Doors slammed shut. The parking gate pulled down. The place was completely dark. Locked inside. The chica and I started wandering around the lobby using my phone light to eventually find a security guy to let us out. She had her car parked inside and drove off soon as the gates were activated. No goodbyes. Left my ass to find a uber. There ends my Scandallo trip. Thanks, JZelezlznik for the useful report and Alex Heyst.
Did you not have to pay for the room or your admission / consumption that night? Or did they find someone to settle your bill?
I had a few FKK sessions that ended when the club was closing. But it was the opposite. The club went from a semi dark environment to. All the lights being on. And I felt blinded!

Posts: 153I also found the food at Scandallo to be very good, at least what I ordered.

The sushi is high quality, almost similar to Nakka. I don't know which all you can eat Sushi place Vagabundo1 is referring to, but a local Asian girl who is a big foodie took me to this place in Libertade and it was very good:

On a final note, you can also use your consumption on tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars or e-cigarettes / vape).

Posts: 143People here seems to think that Scandallo is "heaven" or something and thinks it has sooooo many beautiful people. The false / enhanced illusion is coming from the high quality sound of the music, ambient / lighting, good restaurant, the elegant clothings, and their makeup. Take all of that away and once you push everyone of them in to a swimming pool, they will be coming up looking like everyone else you see in the bottom half of the country which is where the majority of them came from. Scandallo is fun but overexagerated like eating that Big Mac and fries for the first time.

Posts: 49I just returned from BA and a few other cities, was skiing with family so I cannot answer all.

Not sure on current mongering spots, as I was with family. Lots of massage flyers everywhere. I did notice some BA providers in Massage Republic quote in pesos, today I saw some at 10,000-15,000 pesos. (10,000 today is about $32). In dollars they quoted $100 ish.
2) Is the average service level comparable to Brazil?
I have been there 5-6 times, half the sex workers are Brazilian and Uruguayan anyway. I have found Brazilians better providers.
3) is Western Union the best way to get a good rate on ARS? I presume I shouldn't send more than I expect to use, as it'll be very difficult to impossible to switch back to USD.
Bring cash, WU is a backup if you are uncomfortable bringing cash or need more than 10 K and are traveling alone.
You can definitely change back at a price 10%-15% less than you were given (less the peso market change as well). I found in BA use Calle Florida, it totally safe or there is a great spot in Puerto Madero that actually pays about 6 cents more. , it is on Hilton side of the water, on the pedestrian walk next to the water about 4-5 doors down from Central Market. Every decent sized city I went to had street money changers, though they offered close to 10% less than BA. Usually outside of BA there were 3-4 people, seemed to be a Cambio Mafia with price fixing. One good tip is to insist on 1,000 peso notes, they will stick you with 200 and 500 if you let them. Only bring perfect $100 bills, preferably with a blue stripe. Imperfect bills with small imoerfections will either not be accepted or will be offered much less.
4) Are the nice 5 star hotels in BA girl friendly?
I always stay at either Hilton or Alvear Palace and have never had issues. The Hilton is especially good as the elevators do not require a key to access.
5) Do the nice hotels and restaurants accept ARS or only USD due to their inflation? I figure if I use a credit card and pay in either ARS or USD, I would be getting the shitty "official" rate.
I would advise.
Never prepay your hotel in dollars. Either reserve now pay later on Booking.com or another OTA or book through a major hotel chains website, only putting up your card as a guarantee. I paid every hotel in Pesos, I think you pay a local tax but the discount is about 50%. AirBnB and VRBO properties only want to be paid via international credit card in foreign currency as the money likely never touches an Argentine bank.
Pay every restaurant in pesos.
For domestic air travel, you can pay Aerolineas Argentinas in pesos but they are more expensive than the more popular "ULCCs" who only sell online. I was able to make a deal with a Calle Florida exchange office to use his local debit card for flights and meet him halfway between the official rate and the blue rate. I wish I had time to figure out transatlantic 1st Class at a 50% discount.
For Uber switch to cash for the trip.
6) With all the extra logistical obstacles BA has compared to SP, is it even worth it to go for a short trip, especially when the cost of hobbying there seems comparable.
Financially it is a great time to go, but the BA weather is close to freezing.

I went to Prime Sunday afternoon around 1 pm, good lineup on wassap. Nice to know Murina and Prime are open Sunday with a solid lineup by checking before showing up.
Thanks for the protip guys and the gas station tip. Yup, they sell my brand of whiskey in travel size.
At the corner gas station. Bought a bunch to drink in the Clinicas.
At Prime Karen and Ariella were available. As previous forum posters highly recommended those garotas. I grabbed both for duplo. Got to jump on the good ones quickly. Prime seemed to be packed with five or six guys soon after opening on Sunday. Thanks, Nebulousity for the clinca strategy.
I session with both garotas earlier in the week. So knew them to be outstanding performers.
I wasn't let down. The duo was the best session of the trip.
They did porno-style mind-blowing, toe curling, never-ending deepthroat BJ forever.
Don't get the pricing at prime. The friendly cool older blonde charged me $350 for the hour with both of them. ? A fantastico deal. Karen the blonde and Ariella my coca cream work well together. Both have been referenced on gpgua and here. They sloppy shared the sucking, tongues licking at the same time over the dick. Kissing and tonguing each other. My dick solidly in between both mouths. Shared ice cream cone sucking. Even better, none of the wiping off the dick between slurping. Nope direct sloppy salvia and cum sharing on my dick without stopping for 45 min solid. I had them change positions a few times. By ten minutes into they took over, no instructions needed. They did their own rotating between rimming and deepthroat gagging same time. Took turns pushing each other heads down for deepthroat face f*cking.
Every space in the room, chairs, table, beds, twelve towels, six-bed spreads, the couch, floor, and window sill covered with a sloppy mess.
Haha. Kkkk. Rsrs. Top-level service.
At Prime, I still can't figure out the pricing. This time the loud friendly older lady only charged me are $350 for the hour with two garotas doing insane Duplo.
Scandallo random.

Posts: 2872Scandallo food and fine dining.
A fellow ISGer and one of the great wingmen, JimmyBoy, was of the opinion that the main value of going to Scandallo is to use the entrance fee to eat a good meal, and that the food was good.
Of course, JimmyBOy and I tend to concur that the best bang for the buck in SP is in the clinicas, like Miruna in Moema, where you can find real porn stars like Kamila Werneck (retired, though she still tramps around).
https://www.xvideos.com/models/kamilla-werneck#_tabVideos.
For the price of. What, 250 reais or so, which is 50 US Dollars, which is the main reason to come to Brazil, to find those diamonds in the clinicas who are true porn star quality. Another porn star who worked at Miruna was Cindy Blueberry. JimmyBoy is also savvy enough to write reviews on the local forums to get the discounts, truly a use of one's time posting these reviews that yields real, tangible economic benefits!
I concur, but I prefer the Sushi at that great all you can eat place that the late, great, and still remembered Alto Bom Gosto, ABG, used to take new guests to SP to in the heart of Japan town. I will look up the name.

Posts: 427I totally disagree with your assessment. Food court? Please this just shows how much you are exaggerating. I found the Scandallo sushi roll, salmon shasimi, fila apertivo and the grilled Salmon to be very good.

I don't know what you ordered, but I strongly beg to differ. I know I've had a decent steak and some good sushi there. In no way is the food there at the same quality as your run of the mill mall food court offerings. And if you think it is, then I would like to see what malls you've been going to! I've always had much better quality than that to eat at Scandallo.

One of the things I didn't like about Scandallo was the lousy food. The consumable part of the cover charge was a dead loss for me except for a cup of coffee which I needed to synergise with the Viagra. On my last visit front desk asked me "you still have 200 reais credit, why don't you get something before leaving?". I mumbled some excuse about not being hungry. Scandallo food was much worse than what I could get at any shopping mall food court.

Lots of Ford Pintos there, LOL, however, I almost always find a BMW to my liking. Patience is the key there.
We all have our tastes, and it's all fun. One's individual happiness is what matters, whether it be in fancy Scandallo or a dive in Republica.
There are diamonds to be found at all venues.
As far as pricing goes, whether it be in Scandallo or Casarao, I personally, in conversation, tell the girl what I’m willing to pay.
Just like buying a car, I’m always willing to walk away.
Always friendly and nice, saying I understand she may be able to get more, she’s worth it, I wish her the best, etc, etc, lol.
Normally my price is accepted. I don’t extreme low ball, I just offer what I believe is fair.
I don’t get analytical about it. I don’t graph charts of what was paid in 2005 vs 2022, lol. I just offer what I’m willing to pay
Now for one, I’m in Brazil and Colombia quite frequently, actually tomorrow I’ll be in Chile (finally broke the code there, lol), and secondly, I speak pretty good portuguese, and I’m just naturally a friendly, easy to chat with type.
It’s different for a guy who travels infrequently all the way to Brazil.
I’m sure I’d be willing to up my price as well if that were the case.
I don’t blame anyone for that. It makes sense if you’re stuck frequently in Pussy Prison to not pass something up.
What another guy pays is his business. I don’t care.
We all put a value on what’s in front of us, and go from there.

You guys know almost all the girls have a side piece BF (ficando) and if you see some them you wonder wtf she is so hot and he's not. Most of time these guys don't have money and the girls are with them not for money since they make enough but because the way they make them feel.
Not speaking porto is a buzz kill if you can't communicate. 3 sentences later asking how much and you get a high quote you can't wonder oh I'm being robbed. If you tend to always get bloated prices, CBJ, non GFE maybe you should change your approach or the place you visit.
Like I said, if you want a GFE you have to treat them like a GF.

Posts: 651For the 5-10% range I paid 700 for 1 HR and 1500 for overnight the max I will pay and I tell them that and 95% accept. But I sometimes offer other small gifts which sweetings and closes the deal. I always go to Brasil bearing gifts LOL. Just think of stuff that is super expensive in Brazil or that they can't buy there.
