Most probably the person is doing this with many he won't risk his source of income for one person. WA chats prove nothing anyway.

If something like this happens next time try to make the person write on chat asking for money. Tell them that you are ready to send money and ask for bank account number. If they give one number tell them it's not working and ask for another. More information they give more they have risk of exposure. When you have enough information tell them that you tried but it is not working as you are not getting OTP. Let them get frustrated and then block them saying do whatever you want I have already talked with someone in LE.

Use telegram instead of WA or use doosara app.

Ask him to file an FIR also ask the P.S. Where you need to come. You have not done any crime. Then his ego will get hurt and he will raise his pitch and blabber more.

Make sure you record the conversion this time (enable voice recording) when he calls and sent him in WA telling you are going to file case for extortion.

It will stop there. I had couple of issues like this, so don't worry there are some jerks like this.
