Using tor or vpn with this site brings with it a different set of complications. First of all this site is unsecured, it is http, meaning all your login details are transmitted in plain text. So when you use tor, your entry and exit nodes can easily read your login details and messages and what not. So each time you use tor, you will really have to trust that none of the unknown intermediaries have malicious intent. Same with vpn. You will really have to trust that your vpn service provider is genuine because they can access all your data if they wish to. So basically the question is whether you trust your ISP vs your VPN or TOR nodes more?

Why do you need to vpn this is an open site not restricted by your IP location. I am accessing it from us via mobile and via my Ethernet connection never had problems.

If you are worried about history then just go private mode on safari or incognito on chrome.

Unless your isp provider has specifically banned this site or keywords I don't see a reason to use VPN and waste money on it.

TOR for mobile phones is very buggy, IMHO.

I use DuckDuckGo. It's good at blocking pop ups and stuff. I also use VPN. Not that anyone would be interested in me. But it's ok to have a certain measure of cyber safety. Some sites are blocked in India. With the VPN running, I don't even come to know.
