I mean taking someone who is asking 40 k to 20 k or so? How do you handle it? Is there a strategy you guys follow?

Ignore those keywords and never pay in advance or buy any gift from wishlist. Every girl is there for money just negotiate what you want.

Ignore the gift wishlist. I don't think it even works in India, nor is it expected that gifts will be purchased.

Investor is code for giving them a lumpsum to finance whatever story they come up with.

Some are indeed looking for mentors, but that's over and above the agreed allowance. If for E. G. You can help with an internship or recommendation, they might be flexible with expected allowance.
