I had a party on Avenida Paulista with my 100,000 closest friends last night. It was insane. Now in RJ in Fairmont Copacabana. I must admit, I could get used to 5-star hotels, but Im not sure about my wallet.

Is the Fairmont Copacabana "Visitor Friendly"? Any issues or charges to have a visitor in room?

-People started shouting Lula's name when he passed Bolsonaro's votes.

-According rumors (and some news) PRF has tried to stop people going to vote in areas where Lula is popular.

-Saw couple of large groupings of PM when I got back to my hotel. The Uber driver got really nervous seeing them. I asked if he thinks there is going to be a golpe. He said yes and stopped answering my questions.

Just finished the first season of Tokyo Vice.

Solid series and highly recommended, but I wouldn't compare it to the raw power and intensity of CdD, IMHO.

Same deal. Nicholas Hoult as Peter III is so fucking funny the writers won't kill him off. If they stuck to history, Catherine should have killed him off early-to-mid season two. He's likely going to be around for season three.

What does this have to do with ISG? Not particularly much other than in "The Great" Peter III fucks anything and everyone including his mother-in-law (Gillian Anderson).

I caught the 1st episode of "The Great" last night. I thought is was pretty good satire. The Peter III character is written as a 1st rate dildo. He fucking shot the bear! LOL, nah, not even close. The Great is just a slapstick comedy. It's hilarious at times, but there is no history there; the only "historic" things are a few names, and some of them are terribly mispronounced.

In the meantime, creators of Dom meticulously worked with Pedro's father, and from some articles I've read, he wasn't the easiest person to work with. So, no, a much higher factual level there, although clearly a few things about Pedro got embellished.

Dom is a really good drama. Tight script, great acting, and yeah, it doesn't hurt that the sex scenes are awesome, LOL.

Real Pedro Dom dies the same day, soon after that shootout with the Police in the tunnel, so the second season is unlikely.

On a slightly different note, I loved the series too, but real Dom was not a "gentleman bandit" he was portrayed on the silver screen. Real bandits never are, LOL.
