Too late by at least 5 or 6 years. That place was on life support the first time I visited during the 00's and had died a death significantly pre-COVID.

I visited the Astoria Hotel TGIT today because I thought it is a spot for some afternoon delight. Stayed there from 5:15 until 5:45 and not a single girl to be found. Was I too early or too late?

There is no minimum spend at the bar, it is just someone trying to scam you which is common in Dubai. I don't know the deal with tables as I usually don't get one and roam around the bar and the club. On weekdays, you can sit at the tables too and no one will bother you. With regards to quality, yes it is all subjective. I prefer girls with big tits and asses and the MILF types. That's what Barrio has. I'd say it's similar to Coochini at Moscow hotel. If you want slim Russian girls, then better to check Red Square, or Czar or Voco, etc.

Czar at 1 am. Place is packed with men and women. I would say at least 50 girls, some very hot. I'd say 5-8 of them I would love to bang. Big difference with El Barrio, where I fancied basically none but that's my own taste, YMMV. I love petite slim fit girls.
Staff is nice as usual, from hostess at the entry to the bouncers inside to the barmen. Entrance 200 AED, didn't change, with 2 drinks.

Yeah, I would say about 50 to 60 is about right. No where near the old days shoulder to shoulder walking around the club and long lines at the front door, one for men and one for women. The increase in price drove people away but its slowly coming back.

Since it was suggested by BloodRed to be a good club for Uzbeks I decided to try it this Thursday.

Came at 9pm, couldn't hear any music and no one at the entrance so didn't bother.

Came back at 10, there was a guy. He told me 250 minimum spend on the bar counter or shared table, which is bullshit from what I've heard. 500 for private table. Still I went inside to see if it was full. Well, empty as empty can be, except for two guys. The little guy told me it starts going at 11-11 h30. I decided to leave but came back once more at 10 h30, decided to just eat here. This time was another guy who just let me in, no minimum spend bullshit. The shared table is on the left at the entrance. Club is still empty so I just took the best spot on the shared table and ordered food.

Dancers are a bunch of "teens" who barely know how to dance and keep giggling. Nothing like the pro go-go hot dancers from Emperor. There is one belly dancer though that is pretty good with a nice slim fit body. And two playback singers, one with a stunning dress. She kept looking at me as there was one no else. Felt a bit like in Roger Rabbit 😂

3 girls came 10 min ago, Uzbek style + mamasan. But not really anyone I'd fancy. Food is good though. I'm planning on staying one more hour here and then head to Czar. Will update this post as time goes.

Update 1: a few more girls came, but on the really chubby side. Plus a few guys so it's 50-50 ratio.

Update 2: all the girls seem to smoke. Disease of the century. Fuck the guy who invented the cigarette, may you rot in hell for eternity.

I was in Premiere last night. The price to enter has dropped to 250 AED which includes one drink. I think you can get at table for 800 AED which include drink

At those prices, I would just pick up a stunning girl at Cin Cin, have a great time for a few hours and and still have spare change to enjoy a few drinks. You would have the flexibility to see the girls in the flesh and I wouldn't be bothered about looking like a superstar as long as you look clean, respectful and decent you should have your pick of the bunch.

I'm with you there Toadster. I can't see the logic of 3500aed for one hour with the same type that your find at a club for less than half the price and more time. Buying online is suppose to be cheaper. It's a con job. The girls are laughing. If I buy an apple ipad online I expect to pay less than if I go to the shop. It's the same ipad, its equivalent to paying twice the price with less memory. Haha.

A Ukrainian friend visited midnite last week at my hotel with a sea view. Popped out to Al Rolla to get her flowers. Came back 11 pm thru the Canvas Hotel side street entrance that is actually the hotels 2nd level. 3 night clubs on that level. Thought I'd just pop my head in, had a look at 'Tsunami', they just let me in for a quick look).

Walked in across a floor made of giant LCD TVs of deep blue ocean with fish swimming. Freaky. Opened the door, took a few steps. I was standing at the end of a long long narrow brightly lite white stage with 30 Indian girls in short white dresses. The audience was on my right. It was odd, these were slim white Indian girls, if you know what I mean. The fantastic decor must have cost many thousands. That's the thing about Dubai you can find totally bizarre places).

Anyway I was standing there flowers in hand) the cute beauty girl at my end of the stage just 2 metres away, turned to me, strutted her hips and lifted her skirt with a wink. I didn't know where to look or what to do. So I gave her the flowers and popped out. Much to the bemusement of the gents watching. I just popped in for a quick look which indeed I did). Mental note to return another night (which I also did, I'll write later). Had to go back to Al Rolla to buy more flowers for my friend).

So if you want to pop into a totally bizarre club, Tsunami is your number. I can't find anything on google about it. Probably only on Indian Google. Haven't a clue how it all works. Indian clubs have subtle workings that are beyond me.

I did return another night at 1:30 am. Not as many girls. Had they been taken? They were different girls, not slim white Indian. Do they change the girls on different nights? I haven't a clue how it all works. Possibly best to get there just after 10 pm. Theres a large silver partition down the middle of the audience. Again I don't know why. I walked around it and ordered a beer on tap and sat down. The tables at the front are reserved. The waiters hound you at the door but that's expected. Fun night out. Ta Nickc.

David Bowie once sang "Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes, Turn and face the strange" that's how I felt last night as I came back to Dubai a few months since my last trip. Went to my favorite hole (Jules), as I like the band, good layout and lots of heavily tarted up mainly Vietnamese girls.

It had a reasonable number of girls (a few Africans, fewer EE than normal) and not many fellas (no sausage fest here), and as I started talking to some of the girls mostly Vietnamese girls, I noticed how many of them had touch ups, nearly all of them had their teeth done (typically have bad teeth) and here they are all are with pearly white teeth and they have other body touch ups. Especially all the girls seem to be working out hard at the gym and know how to make the most and display their goods. I spoke to a few girls I had met before and struggled to recognize them (Vietnamese) so much was the extent of the work. Don't get me wrong here I loved the way they look, although a little homogeneous at time they all got a bit of that Lucy Liu thing going, which is great if you spent some of your early teen years beating off to her. Just makes me wonder whether this is a Stepford Wives type program being run by the Viet mafia, and what we going to be seeing in a few years time, perhaps Bowie was onto something with "Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes, Turn and face the strange".

Side note: went back with a decent looking Viet bird (white very white teeth and BJ lips) for an all nighter (1,500). Had a good time but I ended up kicking her out just past 3 as she couldn't sleep and I was completely knackered and well seriously needed sleep. Tonight may try out Ratskys for the first time.

In Dubai for a week, decided to hire a girl for the majority of the stay this time which appears to be working out quite well, especially if you're someone that likes getting your shirts pressed as part of the deal.

Did try a couple of clubs. First being Avenue at the at the Shangri-la which is supposed to be one of the better Club nights in Dubai. Not cheap as the cover for a table is 1200 - end bill was 2 k for a bottle of Hendricks and tonics. (You can simply stay at the bar also).

Monday night and the club was filled was WGs. Conservative guess would be 70% girls to men. Lots of very young European looking gals, Middle Eastern chicks and a few Asians. Girls are not shy. Was quoted 2 k for an hour by two separate Ukrainian ladies, an Iranian lady quoted 3 k for the night.

Male clientele appeared to be mainly Arab / Middle Eastern chaps.

Point to note: not a great venue for genuine couples. My lady friend was grabbed a few times when going back and forth to the bathroom by men which appeared to annoy her (maybe because she thought she could earn more there if she had been alone? - these guys weren't shy.

Will perhaps do a solo trip to one of the "classic" punting clubs later this week. Maybe Czar (anybody been there recently?) -unlikely I will take anything home for obvious reasons. This would just be for "Research" purposes only.

So review on the Manhattan Mint bar.

The 'looks' can be a major miss most of the time, however, you will find occasionally gems. Price ranges from 600-1000/3 shots.

Found an Iranian, she more or less dance for 3 hours in a skimpy outfit (you can order from Amazon and keep. Sex was OK.

There's also a group of Uzbeks. They'll come for 600/ night /3 shots. Quality is average, but they'll happily roam around the room naked for 6-7 hours, dance and do a really good party. No ego or arrogance. They're also happy to do 3-somes, which is a great deal for 1,200. Once you become regular, the whole condom-swicteheroo will stop.

However, there are many times, you'll walk into Manhattan and after you finish your drinks, walk out. I don't know about weekdays, entry isn't free on the weekends. I don't remember the exact prices but it was 100-150 - redeemable against drinks, so it's more like a minimum spend.

Open google maps, find the closest pharmacy, call them, and they'll deliver. Blue pills don't require prescription. They OTC.

Sitting and sipping a beer at Coochini khaleej as I'm typing. Few WG mainly Iranians not my type but not bad looking to be fair and I was surprised to see few at this time of the day. Been in Dubai for 5 days now will report back soon. It has definitely been a discovery and a good one too!
