I am in good shape and in my mid 70's. I have been to Scandalo on three occasions and had no problems with being rejected. I had numerous garotas approach me during each visit.

That's a plus in Brazil. Try that in Thailand now. In Thailand your rejection rate because of age and race might be high as 80%. In Brazil all girls in a venue are ready to talk business with any male customer. In other words, if a club lets a customer in, the customer is good enough, period.

Are you saying if I go to a pharmacy, I can buy a SIM card and activate with no Brazil social security number.

I was at the Claro store in that mall and they processed the payment at the pharmacia. Have no idea why. But just went along with it. The contract doesn't show my passport number or any CPF number.

All good reply's to CanadaWet. However, I would say Scandallo girls are after the "Look of Money" not physical looks!! LOL! You will be fine every time I visited there were always a "Few Good Aged Men" having fun. So go and enjoy and report back your experience.

15 years ago I used to frequent 4 x4 and Helpe. From what I gather Scandalo is the closest thing in Brazil today to what Helpe was 15 years ago. Will report back after my trip.

But I'm now 60 years old. Scandalo sounds good, but I'm wondering if the hot younger women there will go out with an older dude? This dude can pay the higher-end prices. Thanks for your help. Google mocoto sao paulo. It should come up. The restaurant is very well known otherwise I would not have known. You will like this place if you like tripes, pork knukle, and cow foot type of food. They take the traditional food to another level in ingredient selection, process and cooking. I instantly could tell on my first bite. It's the same dish I had elsewhere just far better. If you don't like the ingredients that I listed. You could try dishes like carne de sol that is sun dried meat. The price is very reasonable. It's less than are $150 for one person but Uber is going to cost you.

Thanks for the review. I've been wanting to go here during my past few trips after lots of folks recommend the place. But I never bothered as I didn't want to bother with a 1. 5 to 2 HR RT Uber for a meal. And SP has tons of amazing places to eat at.

I usually arrive in SP in the early morning so stopping by from GRU to the hotel would require a 2 HR wait, which I wouldn't tolerate. I also don't want to waste my last few hours of fun at SP at a restaurant before my night time departures. However, my trip next week has a later flight arrival time so plan to drop by for lunch when they open.

I do plan to check out the Carne de Sol and order a tons of stuff and just try a bit of everything. The pricing is pretty low for a Michelin star restaurant as well.

This is so true. I am in astoundingly better shape than I was at 45. Why? One reason only. Girls! If I'm going to date 23 year olds on a regular basis (given some incentive) then I better bring my A game. And I do. Well. Maybe a B+. 😆.

I was able to get a Claro sim card with only my US passport at the Frei Caneca Mall in Sao Paulo 3 weeks ago. It was a pain, as for some reason they couldn't process my credit card and wouldn't take cash. We had to go next door to the Pharmacia to process the payment? The pharmacia woulnd't take credit card so I had to pay in cash. I just accepted the whole process as the Brazilian way. LOL I paid R110 for 14 GB data good for one month. This left me with R68 in credits to recharge again next month.

The contract doesn't have CPF number on it nor my passport number. Blank fields. Currently in Rio bad has worked great so far.

At Scandallo, look is absolutely worthless compared money. Girls go there for money, not for looks. If they want looks. They would be going somewhere else. Just dress decent and youll be OK.

Thanks, I looked at the menu, I just wish I could match menu items against the photos. Since some things look appetizing versus the menu description. Looks like restaurant has won some prestigious culinary listings and awards. Looks like a restaurant to check out if I'm in that area on next trip! Thanks Again!!

I usually show pictures to the waiter for them to point out the menu item. On the street, I would start taking pictures first. I show the picture of what I want to the vendor after I know what they serve.

I think they took you to pharmacia to get the prepaid plan. They usually don't sell it at their own store.
