Exchange rate is hovering around 4800, yes, but when I was there last month the exchange rate was close to 5000 and the cambrios didn't want to budge pass 4300, unless your plan is to pull cash out of the green ATMs with a no transaction fee debit card I would not be too excited.

Just a heads up, if hollywood Beach is your thing the beach construction pushed everyone to kiosk #4 so its hella crowded so the annoyance is increased, even the begging kids are there along with the trans.

Uber is great, just be warned at night they will cancel allot if you are going from Centro to El Laguito or Boa Grande because they know they will not get a fare to go back.

I never heard of those apps. Rather just stick with Uber that I know and use.

I strongly disagree. The Venezuelan girls give less problems than the Colombian girls because they don't want any dealings with the police. If your going to get robbed or drugged it's going to be a Colombian because they will likely not face any repercussions. OP maybe it's the quality of women you deal with and not the nationality that's giving you problems.

Bottom Line with Venezolanas to always keep in mind: These girls are scared and desperate about day-to-day survival having fled hopeless circumstances of no fault of their own obviously, in homeland.

They are unwanted, received no functional education in the current Venezuela schools, (especially girls). Again, they are unwelcome in Colombia. For context, Venezuelans are not allowed in Panama for any reason. Other latin american countries have similar absolutist restrictions. These girls are very far away from their loved ones Many, even from their own very small children back home. Colombian girls generally despise the venezolanas. Do Not try to mix them in group date or party. The 2 groups of women may seem interchagnable to foreigners. They are not "apples to apples". I've had some good times with venezolanas. I even had one stay at my place in Medellíand for a couple of months. This is not a warning against Venezolanas. Just to help all to be more aware of who you are dealing with.
