I moved from Bangkok to Pattaya for a few days yesterday. My intent had been to take a bus between the two cities but when I mapped it out, with the hour plus to get to and / from the bus stops and finding the new place, I decided to just hire a car for the trip and go door to door. Good call.

The standard of pay here in Thailand is basically a minimum wage of 300 baht a day, under this administration it is only volunteer now. I do know from my son and daughter-in-law that foreign companies do pay that amount like Lotus, Big see, 7/11, KFC, and Starbucks the hours daily are 10,6 days a week starting pay for all especially here in Pattaya is 9-10,000 a month.
