What do you think the main differences are between Pattaya and Bangkok?

Pattaya has much higher percentage of girls who are looking for customers and are also close enough to come to your central Pattaya hotel. Probably not much difference on Thai Friendly. I would guess Bangkok has more girls looking for a serious relationship, but that is just guessing. It is a totally divided city now, much more than 10 years ago. Bangkok has a lot younger crowd over all. C) Pattaya / Jomtien has the beach, sadly lacking in Bangkok. I don't like the new wider beach in Pattaya, but Jomtien beaches still good as before. It is nice to enjoy the sea breeze on a hot day. Bangkok has much more variety. For newbies; definately go to both places!
