I have the latest first hand experience on Batumi.

First of all. Georgian Government mght me midlle asian style, but how the build tourism here ist great.

The "bazaar" ist the night club bazar. Right the the boulevard. 11 opening still families with kids strolling around. In the area around 20-30 police offers. Tshirts, athletic. Any drunk inside or outside will be taken oot.
