Thailand is not safer than the USA. Number 7 is bunk. Relatively speaking, you are RICH and living in tourist areas. The same applies to USA if you are rich and living in areas that cater to rich, it is super safe. There are plenty of places in Thailand that you can get your head knocked off.

Not once in Thailand have I felt that I may be pushed off BTS platform.

I'm scared to go to Chicago, Detroit, NYC,. You know the drill.

Thailand just don't have the random crime. You actually have to do something to get Beaten up side the head.

After a very busy High Season, Pattaya is slipping into Low Season, albeit one that is busier than any previous Low Season.

For ladies working in Pattaya the first time, its pretty stunning to see their bar empty of customers.

However, I am still getting cancellations as ladies who beg me to come to my condo in the afternoon don't show because they found a Long Time customer the night before.

It happens to many of us. One of my regulars in Manila did something like that. I told her I will be there one day. She initially said she cannot be with me because it is her mother's birthday. Later she said she will stay with me. She wanted some food after she came to the room with no bag or change of clothes. I went out and got her food. After eating she wanted sex. As soon as we had sex she got a phone call from her mother. She said her mother is sick and she had to leave. I just gave half the daily allowance I normally give. She said she needs more to celebrate her mother's birthday. I told her a sick person will not be celebrating much and she left. No contact after that.

It's a variation of the "key" trick which the ladies use to get out of Long Time. They get a call, it's a friend who claims she needs a key to get into her room, but only your lady has the key. So your lady must leave.

I think the lady in my case has quit her job working bar and went home with her boyfriend. So I paid her barfine for her last night at her job at the bar.

Much more likely the bargirl instructed the boyfriend to call me at a certain time, so she would have an excuse to leave early. They went to her home in Sattahip later that night, which would not have been possible if I had not paid her barfine. So, it was a scam to get her barfine paid so she could have a night off.

1 great food that's really cheap and easy to find.

2 really cheap and nice accommodations. Good mini-splits.

3 cheap foot massage / reflexology easy to find.

4 easy conversion back and forth for currency to gold.

5 don't even need car or motorbike with right choices.

6 good and plentiful healthcare.

7 safer than the USA.

8 bargirls or massage girls.

9 7-11 LOL.

10 you can operate and night and sleep during the day.

Agree. Some people VASTLY overestimate how smart the average thai person is because they have hustle or know a few cons to run on sexpats and tourists. Public education, especially outside of BKK and CM is atrocious..

Laugh all you like. When others share, that is how I learn. When others laugh. Says more about them than the person being laughed at. I personally would prefer to over estimate my opponent and be wrong. Than to underestimate and pay those consequences. Far be if from me to tell all of the Thai experts anything. Home field advantage is nothing to be laughed at. But I have no problem keeping my mouth shut and just learning for now.

He could have installed a keystroke logger on her computer. Or hacked her phone with software that gives him access to GPS location and might even be able to turn her phone into a broadcasting device.

I like this idea. But I would take a little time and vet them to make sure I wanted to spend that much time with them. I have to have insane chemistry with a girl before I spend anytime with them other than "naked time".

So you think that the worlds biggest economy and global reserve currency will collapse and you will be safe with your money in THB? If the US dollar actually collapses there will be no safe haven asset. No currency, no precious metal, no crypto will save you then. Its like if a giant meteor hits the planet, you can't go hide in your basement.

There is a big difference between a economic down turn and complete societal collapse. The dollar will collapse. But in my personal opinion not anytime soon. You will see the dollar eat other currencies around the world and when we are down to 3 or four different world currencies then the collapse will come. Right now the dollar is king. Everyone wants the dollar and it is currently the dog with the best fleas in the world.

In the case of total social collapse you are going to want to have prepared by being self sufficient (in as many areas as you can be) until the storm passes. Just think about what you can provide for yourself and work to do that as much as possible. That is if you actually think that is an important action to take. I don't know what is going to happen one way or the other or when it is going to happen.

Precious metals will hold value. Thailand won't be too hurt by the demise of the USA due to stupidity. Pattaya might fare the worst of locations in Thailand. Thailand would be worse off if China collapsed, but China isn't run by total idiots like the west is now.

Don't over think it. In the event of social collapse a can of tuna is going be worth more than a gold coin. If you have a gold coin and think you are going to trade for resources you better have a gun and back up otherwise the other party will put a bullet in your head and just take your gold. That is the history of gold. It invites violence on the holder.

Many do not like to say this out loud, but there is a very good reason why the United States of America has stronger military than the next 10 countries combined. Think they are just going to sit around and let their status in the world declined without a fight?

The US banking system has not been doing too well lately. If it collapses and you are in the US make sure that you have a basement full of non-perishables and a gun with numerous rounds.

It is unlikely to completely collapse. There will be banks that will be allowed to fail. Others are two big to be allowed to fail. The US Government has a printing machine. And they have no problem making it go burrrrrr. And as long as there is a world wide demand for dollars the economic system will continue to function as it is. But don't expect to be able to preserve your buying power by holding dollars.
