Not trying to say I know better, not trying to score a point and really not trying to argue but just wanted to pass on info that a surgeon shared with me: Most viruses (including covid) are held in tiny droplets that do indeed easily pass through masks, and there is nothing that stops a person who is exhaling virus from doing just that. The reason masks are helpful is that they slow down the overall breath of exhaled air that the virus floats in, so the particulates don't travel as far as they would unhindered before they land or disperse. This is like putting a towel over a hosepipe nozzle. The same water still comes out and penetrates the towel but it doesn't go as far, which is of some benefit and better than without. Masks don't offer much protection for the wearer but have some benefit to protect those around you at close proximity when indoors because the plumes of exhaled virus are somewhat muffled.

Posts: 15My source is real but your's. Not so much
I referred to the CDC's gun deaths rates. I didn't bother reading your bullshit but now that you're revealing yourself as a huge prick, like Tucker Carlson, I glanced at your source and it's a libtard fake news writer for a left leaning fake news outlet so fake off. You are not real. "Based on real murders". For fucks sakes man, your libtard prosecutors don't recognize and charge with murder anymore, unless of course its a white man pulling the trigger. So now you can manipulate the numbers to benefit your libtard schemes. Just like you don't see black on black crime because it would consume TV for 24 hours a day. Wake the fuck up and stop hiding behind fake media. I experience the real world every day and based on reality, I'll walk around Jacksonville all day. But not Baltimore.

Posts: 7458Nope. Wrong topics, if you are referencing my post, which you did.
The study cited and hyper-linked in the source I provided was only about per capita murders. Not suicides. In fact, not even limited to gun deaths. Murders.

I am keeping it real.
We have a murder problem in America - especially in red states
https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign...in-red-states/
If anything, as of this writing the unsourced and unsubstantiated numbers you threw out there on a topic that was beside the point of my post might just as well have been pulled out of Tucker Carlson's butt.Mississippi a state that neither conjures up weak on crime images nor Democratic officeholders topped the charts with a 2020 murder rate twice that of blue Illinois, thrice that of bluer California, and four times that of bluest New York. The red states of Louisiana, Kentucky, Alabama and Missouri rounded out the top five and each had murder rates at least six times Massachusetts, four times New Jersey and just shy of twice that of Michigan. These blue states are home to the crime-is-out-of-control cities you read about daily Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, Newark and Detroit. They generate the headlines, the outrage and the political backlash.
Yet, media coverage is essentially mum about Lexington, Kentucky, which has set back-to-back murder records, has a homicide rate twice that of New York City and has a Republican mayor. Tulsa and Oklahoma City have Republican mayors, a Republican governor and murder rates that dwarf that of Los Angeles. Jacksonville was the murder capital of Florida in 2020 with its Republican mayor, governor and a stratospheric homicide rate that if it were matched in New York City wouldve added more than 1,000 murders that year.
And to top it off, the homicide rate in Speaker Nancy Pelosis (D-Calif.) San Francisco was half that of House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthys (R-Calif.) Bakersfield, the largest city in Kern County and one with a Republican mayor with overwhelming Trump support and not a whiff of flirtation with defund the police movements. In fact, the murder capital of California for six years running is sleepy Kern County, 130 miles from Los Angeles and 306 miles from San Francisco, the two California locales most often associated with the crime-is-out-of-control national headlines that have dominated U.S. crime and political coverage.

LOL. We always seem to get these self-appointed topic moderators jumping in to demand we all get back on the preferred forum topic after someone pushes back on those loving "red non-liberal state" claims and not the Dem-bashing claims. Meanwhile, I notice those self-appointed moderators have no problem sprinkling the Pattaya Reports forum with comments about Jakarta, Medellin, Cambodia and such, which, last time I checked also has nothing to do with getting laid in Pattaya.

Yeah, we know inner city Chicago is a riskier neighborhood to stroll around in than Hooterville. So what? Therefore, to keep this post every bit as on topic as the ones we read about Jakarta, Medellin, Cambodia, etc on the Pattaya Reports forum, ISG members looking to get laid In the USA will likely be safer in Hooterville than Chicago. Good luck with that.

I noted that Caliguy aka "red" according to you, was only stating fact that crime is more prevalent in major metropolitan areas, like Dallas-Forth Worth area where a black guy shot people at an outlet mall. Blue always blurts out some fake news. Crime ridden cities also have lots of drug addicted girls that'll suck your dick for drug money to feed their habit. Contrast that to Pattaya where girls actually work for the money like it's a job so not only is Pattaya safer than the US, it also has girls with a better work ethic.

Posts: 15OK, you and eih tooms have gone too far.
I've been reading this forum for quite some time and you've caused me to register so I can call out your left wing BS. This is a monger forum and you are ruining it with your politics. You may be Gavin Newsome's speech writer but let me educate you a bit. Your statistics are based on CDC gun deaths per 100,000 of each state. I live in Baltimore. There are about 600,000 people in Baltimore and 5 million in the state so the 3-400 murders committed in Baltimore are diluted by the total state population. Contrast to the State of Wyoming which has less than 600,000 total population. Also keep in mind that gun deaths also include suicides which compromise 54% of all gun deaths. So. You can push your fake news but truth is that liberal cities like Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, St. Louis, LA, etc are murder capitals and extremely dangerous places to be and having lived here I'd rather be living in Pattaya hands down. I'll also point out to you that if you live in a rural area there are no malls to get shot at and that an AR or any firearm has never in history killed anyone. A firearm is an inanimate object and can do nothing by itself. Humans kill humans yet you refuse to blame the true perpetrators. Anywho. Have a nice day but keep it real.

Posts: 18168People get killed by people, not inanimate objects. If someone killed a person with a hammer, you do not say they got killed by a hammer. If someone kills someone using a knife, you do not say they got killed by the knife. If someone was killed by another person driving a car into them, you do not say they were killed by the car. Maybe if the gun just jumped up and pulled its own trigger, but we know that does not happen. If guns killed people then our militaries should have been decimated by their own equipment eons ago.

Unless you get killed by an AR15 in a random shooting in a mall. Like in Texas, for example.
What nonsense.

Posts: 6685You are dead on point. Now I cannot speak to Thailand. Got my first trip planned for later this year. But I was just in the Disunited States of America for 2 hours and was ready to leave. I completed my business and flew out on a red-eye. Didn't even spend the night. I would not live in the Disunited States of America if they paid me to do it. Too dangerous. My biggest fear is not crime but the police.

If your goal is to avoid being murdered in America, you'll probably want to live somewhere other than a "red non-liberal state".

Now, for the rest of the story. In a report Third Way recently released, we found that murder was much more prevalent in red states than blue states. Thats right. In 2020, homicide rates were a stunning 40 percent higher in the 25 states that former President Donald Trump won compared to the 25 won by current President Joe Biden. Of the 10 states with the highest 2020 per capita murder rates in America, eight of them not only voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, they voted Republican in every presidential election this century.

Posts: 720Most of the US population is centered in big cities and a handful of states. If you're lucky enough to be living in small town USA and a red non- liberal state then certainly your experience will differ from the majority.

Posts: 5094I return to Pattaya today. Still not sick, I guessed I dodged a bullet after spending the night with an infected lady.
I won't get into Pattaya until after 10 pm, so I will sleep alone tonight. The fun starts tomorrow when a silicon enhanced MILF comes to my condo in the afternoon. She allegedly broke up with her Farang boyfriend, but I will make sure the relationship is over before we hit the bedroom. Because I don't fuck bargirls with Farang boyfriends (or husbands).

Posts: 566Except that the HIV virus cannot penetrate a latex barrier. On the other hand, Covid virus is too small to be blocked by those stupid masks that most of the sheeple wear.
