Posts: 4632Point is DonCarlos was going to Brazil and I told him what I saw and have read
About what the differences are.
So the only person's POV that matters is yours? So now you know better than the BBC? https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-31510184.

I am glad the women were on time for you and Mr. E but that is not what I saw and not the stereotype.

The Argentina comment was by a woman with children who lived in Argentina and had lived in Canada before. Still, this was a stereotype based on my observations. House servants were so common in Brazil and Argentina and talked about so much there and I heard nothing about them in Colombia. So I actually asked my gal about it.

As of now, she said that she saw there was more of the American model where maids come in and clean versus live with people in Colombia.
When I was in Brazil, I met with an attractive lawyer who had kids and was divorced. This was business not pleasure but she mentioned she had an American guy she was dating, and he wanted to bring her to the USA. Things fizzled between them because her family and job were in Brazil, but the other big thing was the help she had with her kids. She knew she would have much more work to do around the house in the USA without the servants she had in Brazil.
That does not matter to guys seeing hookers or the blue collar type women in Brazil, but Don is like me, and he aims high. I have never heard of a Colombian woman reluctant to leave Colombia because of servants. What I have seen are Colombian women be wizards in the kitchens whereas the Brazilian women let their servants do the cooking and cleaning.
I have not been to Argentina or Brazil in a while so maybe that has changed, but I doubt it.

Posts: 2125I actually just think they are making themselves look like arrogant Sobs. Ternera a la llanera is a delicacy in Colombian Cuisine from the llanos orientales region of the country. I've actually traveled there myself to Villavicencio, Meta and Melgar, Tolima annd had this meal first hand where it originates from and it is delicious. I doubt these guys talking shit on here have ever been to villao or any of the other beautiful pueblos that Colombia has to offer.

If MB1 and APF or whoever else want to think they are better than the rest of us because they throw around cash and make it rain then they can do that, pero quien conoce mas a Colombia? I'm pretty sure that question answers itself!

Posts: 6419You are giving posters the opportunity to bash the girl and the meal in order to show other posters how refined their tastes are.

Posts: 6419So have I found an easy way to get to Loutron? Ask the driver to take me to that restaurant. The last time I went we had lots of difficulty finding Loutron.

Posts: 1887Of course it happens in Medellin. It's a concern in virtually every mongering destination. It's too obvious of a scam to not happen.

He is referring to Colombia Jake. Another know it all who was too smart to listen to anyone. I think if you search the forum you will find the story of his demise some 4 or 5 years ago.

As with women, someone's 5-star may be another person's 1-star. I ate there one time with three other people. We had steak, pork, fish, and something they said was seafood. It looked like ravioli without the sauce. Very bland taste. The fish was good. The steak and pork were average at best. I tried to order chicken, but the waiter said the only chicken on the menu would take more than hour to prepare. I asked for a glass of water and the waiter said they didn't have a license to serve water in a glass, only bottled water. The only bottled water was imported from France and was served at room temperature, without a glass of ice. We were seated near the band that was playing that night. They were so loud that we could not have a conversation. The view from the balcony is good. The prices were ridiculously high for Medellin.

Posts: 645I ate there with a date recently and the appetizer was very good. So was desert and the wine. My entree was just OK but hers was very good. The view is amazing but we were not seated at a table with a view. The place was packed on a weeknight. The band was too loud but still a good evening. Service was excellent. Had photo shoot with the hottie SA chica on the deck after meal.

Posts: 228It's on Carrera 81#42-60 apartamento 202 in Laurels and when they press the button to open the door it flings open all the way flat against the wall due to the springs. All the ones presented in the pictures with the exception of Emma were present. So if that's the Isabella you're talking about then she was there.

Posts: 4348The view is spectacular day or night. The food is better than what you normally get in a place that has a waterfront or mountaintop view because these places can get away with low quality product that would not be tolerated at a place without the killer view. I rate the food on par with the other upscale places in Poblado. The prices are very fair.

Posts: 351I have eaten there and it is as advertised, the view is spectacular and food is great. I went there without a reservation and the hostess seated us upstairs and there was a fine ass chica Djing up there.

Posts: 837Big Scam in the Philippines
That is a big scam that happens in the Philippines. Girl with no ID, police knock on the door, police say girl is underaged, girl says she is 17. With no ID, and the police and the girl saying she is 17, what is your defense? It puts you in a difficult situation where it will be money for the bribe or being taken to the police station until you decide to get the money for the bribe.
