On my way to Pattaya had a 17 hour layover in Fukuoka. Had to leave the airport as my departure airport didn't give me the 2nd leg boarding pass.

Actually leaving and getting a hotel for $60 was better than spending 17 hours in an airport.

Last time got shafted on hotel location. Was a little far out. PEACH convention.

Any suggestions of good 5 stars in and around beach road that are girl friendly? Cost not a big issue. The company pays LOL.

What are you gogo guys going to do? Looks like a totally different business model is coming to fruition.

The same will happen as in Patong probably.

* Minimum amount of ladydrinks required before a barfine (already happening in XS / Pinup I understood).

* Extremely high prices for ST / LT (no incentive to fuck a guy and Koreans pay 10 K without blinking anyway).

Basically XS / Pinup has "destroyed" the market. They pay high salaries and got the cute chicks. All the other gogobars got mediocre ladies at best. Probably 50% of the gogobars are out of business within 5 years and two kind of Gogo's will be left.

1. Upscale gogos like XS / Pinup.

2. Sleazy once like windmill / KINK.

Keep in mind SOME chicks make good money on drinks only. But a LOT do not get the minimum drinks and switch bars all the time.

So what the ladies do who NOT get the drink quota? Probably go to bars or freelance.

So the 8/9/10 lookers are fine and the 5/6/7 (average looking girls) will have a lot of competition (so these prices might stay reasonable).

The chick that came to see me mom is actually taking care of the friend's older child back in the province. I said how is it your responsibility to take care of this chick's kid? She said she does not know. It is like she pulled some kind of mind control hot potato baby shit on the girl..

I'm sure there are girls who get 100 drinks a night. Say $2 per drink that's $200 at night. Anything less is not making hand over fist.

There was a 3 day holiday this weekend, so Pattaya was jammed with visitors from Bangkok. And, the top tier venues like Windmill can be jammed even during Low Season.

But, most ladies are fairly desperate for customers. I went to Ban Chang and barfined a MILF who clearly hadn't been laid for a long time. We came back to Pattaya, and I barfined a second lady, who was herself pretty horny, although professionally so.

Yea gogo bars are crazy I only go in them so I can keep up to date on what's going on in town. Guys are reporting that chick have to get a minimum of five drinks to bar fine so if it's early and you want to take a chick you have to buy her five drinks plus pay 1500 baht bar fine plus at least 3000 baht st at some of the clubs on walking street. Funny thing is some guys have said that the even if the chick has had five drinks already they sometimes make the guy that wants here buy another five that's crazy. Yea I do think most of the better chicks work in the top gogo bars but you can go to the clubs Mystt and Republic and get something just as good for one fourth the price.

Thai people take advantage of Thai people the same as they do with foreigners. This is not my first time hearing a story like this. Some lady told me that a chick I used to mess with just went and left her baby with a lady at the salon an disappeared. Hell I did not even know that she had a kid. These people must have really good hearts because I would have taken these kids (and tomboy) straight to the fire station or orphanage, if I would have even picked them up in the first place.

The traffic on second road is brutal every day. Central festival is packed when I've been at weekends. Couldn't get a seat in Windmill, Pin up or XS on Sunday night!

Quiet? You must be talking about 6 am Tuesday morning, because it definitely has not been quiet the last few days with the holiday. It took some friends 4 hours to get here from Bangkok Friday because of the traffic. It was taking them an hour on the baht bus to get from their hotel Siam at Siam on 2nd Road to the food court on Pattaya Klang. They finally got out on Beach Road and walked the rest of the way.

On the other hand, LK Metro / Buakhao and surrounding areas are pretty quiet after 1 am. The gym I go to feels like a ghost town compared to last year. Second and third tier ladies report abrupt loss of business. The prime time tourist activities like Central and Walking Street are flush and doing well, as are top shelf ladies- the rest in my observation has thinned out. If you are not a Premium Experience Monger, this is just about as good as it can get.
