First night was Walking Street, I notice lots of tour guides with groups and tons of girls but not many John's. I did not find any to my liking and just too much going on. The second night was soi 6 and the same thing with tons of girls and few guys but no tour groups. I did approach one who wanted 2500 baht and another who wanted 1500 but I felt she was the prettiest but no one approached her because maybe she was a ladyboy. I passed on all but did enjoy cheap massages and a boat ride to ko lan.

Even after a 24 hour flight itinerary from the USA, a 1. 5 hour taxi to Pattaya is a piece of cake. The last thing I want to be on is a booze fueled van driving 80 mph during the rainy season (September).

"Piece of Cake"? Really? This concept seems like the equivalent of the overpriced photo they have printed out for you after you get off the logjam water ride at 6 flags. A tourist gimmick geared towards aw shucks yokels and cash flush newbies looking to flush baht from time stamp zero. Last thing I want to do after a 26 hour ride is have some random 5.5 play with my sleep deprived worm for probably 3000 baht followed by 1.2 hours of awkward silence until we finally get to P. Chill the duck out and at least drop your bags and take a shower. You'll have plenty of time to blow those baht on more enjoyable if less "made a great story" experiences. Only exception here is if you are coming from somewhere reasonably close. Otherwise ctfo.

Stayed at the LK Empress. Fits the bill. Very convenient location. Bad advertising on the balcony which is just a 2 ft cubicle with 1 chair and an ac extractor that blows such hot air, you can't stand a minute there!! Otherwise good breakfast, no issues with girls coming (except one who was refused as she was 19 and apparently under 20's not allowed) - anyone know this rule??

Stayed at LK about two weeks ago. My balcony didn't matter since it faced Soi 12 and the hotel across the street. I never stopped at the front desk when I brought a lady with me. The only time they interacted with a lady was when I had an outcall visit. To be fair, none of the ladies I was with looked 20 either. I will stay again, but ask for a different view, I was kind of hoping to doggy one of the ladies as she hung onto the balcony railing. Got to have a goal!

Mate got back from Pattaya. Said he paid 10,000 for a Russian girl. I think that was just the girl fee not BF or drinks.

According to what I hear is that you are welcome to "korean places" in Philipines. What is this talk about closing the gates for farangs? What kind of bar is this.

Are you saying prices are droping on soi 6 or some girls have restrained thier asking prices?

Boots on the ground are saying more and more that 1 k for ST is becoming the norm again. Too many ladies and not enough customers.

I haven't been there since Oct so I personally can't speak to this. But judging by YT vids there doesn't seem to many customers around.

It would be best to contact DD directly. My expectation is that it will not be available for quite some time if ever again. First they have to find a new location and then restaff it which I expect is in progress.

I can't remember the exact cost but I remember it being expensive. Personally after a long journey I'd at least want a shower first before any action.

Adjustable for inflation definitely dropping.

I read on redit that the Devils Den is reopening in the next month. Supposed to be the same format from what I understand. There was no indication on the location. Not a massage place but had an A+ lineup.

Hey mongers, I'll be in pattaya for 4 days (22-26 July) for bachelors party. Staying at the Royal Cliff with friends separate rooms for each. Any recommendations, most appreciated. Happy to entertain high end / beautiful girls only not cheap ones. 1 girlfriend a day with no repeats. Any recco, budget is 5000-8000 / day. Let the fun begin.

Stayed at Royal cliff on 2022 visit. Very nice place, very girl friendly - 1 week and many girls, not a single one had to engage front desk.

Overall great place, but didn't stay there this time as I felt it was a little out of town. Had met a few chicks in town and even when you tell them Royal cliff, they want more for the return taxi!

My last stay at LK the Empress was 6 years ago. I had no problems bringing in a 19 year old and a 20 year old at the same time. Gave IDs at front desk, very normal procedure without problem. Perhaps things have changed.

When I was there last year, all of the LK properties were 20 years and older. So was the Areca Lodge. At my age 20 is quite young enough.

If the current trend continues, the Koreans could make Pattaya worthless for you. I am seeing signs that the process is having an effect. There is one bar on Sai Sam where Farangs are not welcome.

Also, the Koreans are moving beyond Walking Street and Soi 6 to Soi Chaiyapoon.

Inflation adjusted Soi 6 as a whole have gone down.

Old ugly fat girls don't have pricing power.
