So the 49% law has nothing to do with how many units have been sold, if you are wondering about how full the building is.
But, if you worry about occupancy, consider that a condo may be sold, but not occupied.
My personal opinion is that few Thais buy condos, I think that the condi owners create dummy Thai companies to take title of 50% of the units, which is why most condo buildings are half empty.

Posts: 40I'm renting a condo in a building I quite like just across the river (Thon Buri side), and was thinking of maybe buying a unit. Decided against it, as I'm done with Bangkok. But that's another story. Anyway I checked out the "penthouse" units. There are eight of them. Four on the river side, in other words nice view, and four looking over the grimy suburbs of the city. Only four of the eight were up for sale. All four had the same view. No doubt you can guess which. I haven't checked with Juristic, but judging from other signs (parking, lights on in the evening, uncollected mail / notices, etc.), I make the building to be about 55% occupied.

Only wage slaves and government employees calculating inflation numbers exclude the highest cost items in order to arrive at a number they like. Businessmen (like me) know that you must take into account all of your expenses when calculating your costs.
The cost of air travel, hotel, food and incidentals are all part of the cost of your trip. You then add the cost of the girls. Take the number of nuts you busted and divide it into your total and you get your CPO (Cost Per Orgasm). That is an objective number can use to measure the true cost of busting your nut each time you shoot it off. And you can compare this number across any country you chose to visit.

Posts: 493Where else to monger for not a lot of money
I'm going back to Thailand in 2 months. I would like to try another country on the way there. Which country would you recommend I fly to for a few days to visit on the way there? I was thinking Germany or the Phillipines. I don't want to spend a lot of money adding this trip, maybe $1000 to $1500 usd and just staying 2 or 3 days. I would like it to be some country where our hobby is easy and straight forward. Are my thoughts on money reasonable? Thank you for any advice. I will be flying from USA.

Posts: 493I know some of the condos in thailand can only be sold to thais and not foreigners. Is it the same for condo rentals? Are some condos reserved to only be rented to thais? Thanks.

So, for Christmas of 2022, me and a few friends celebrated in Thailand, on 1 night out, heading back from the club ROUTE 66 there where some checkpoint, but the police only pulled over car with tourist, and literally search us for Cocaine. LOL at first I thought it was because I didn't have a seat belt on, but they asked us to empty our pocket and them flip though our wallet and that when it clicked there looking for drugs.
As anyone else experienced this.
