For those of you who know the history prior to COVID. The Spasso's bar in the basement of Hotel Hyatt Erawan use to turn into an exclusive pickup joint at 10 pm every night. Live band, beautiful Thai, EE women, booze set that place up like no other. It was a bit expensive relatively, 5-Star rates applied but I guess it wasn't too bad at all. One could see beauties dressed elegantly step in through the door one after another while families would slowly leave, knowing the place will soon morph this evening classic Italian restaurant into a late night Adult Hookup House. This use to be my best hunting ground for two reasons - 1) I thought I did not miss much stepping out of the Hotel, all the better girls (so I think) walked over to the Daddies, no effort needed 2) The convenience was second to none, I could pick someone up and run up the elevator straight to the room in a minute flat.

After COVID, they closed down the late night "Adult Hookup House", I suppose it is now a full-time family restaurant. Do any of you old timers here know a similar 5 Star Hotel Bar that might have a night gig like Spasso's still. I heard The Bamboo Bar located in The Mandarin Oriental hotel might be similar but I have not heard anything for sure. Are there others anyone would like to share?

About 10 years ago I was a big fan of the disco at the Novotel Siam (CM-2); that disappeared while nothing equivalent took its place.

A few weeks ago I walked by the Hyatt before midnight, Spasso restaurant was already closed.

I sat outside down wistfully on the railing and I remembered that somewhere around (2015-2018) you had from there a perfect when a woman / groups of women walked down the stairs to the garage. I remembered that I had good pick ups (or I was approached and could get a lift when she drove by past a few minutes later). An ideal place for smokers, but also as a non-smoker you could score well there. I have experienced that quite a few ladies visited Spassos that were not really in the business by default.

A lot is changed after Covid; nowadays I try to find my luck again in shopping malls.

It costs a lot more time but I'm usually over for 4 till 6 weeks so there's no reason if things don't move quickly.

Yes, there is usually a drop in the "cover" as the locals say. Of course part is to enhance the looks and part is to obscure the identity. On some of the agent telegram groups there are more accurate photos posted of faces.

I've had a few experiences where it was very obvious right when I walked in the room are very early in the session that the girl was not into it (perhaps really not being okay with foreigners) and it was not going to be good. I immediately contact the agent and depending on how far it went agreed to a small fee or nothing, and in the agent usually suggests another girl in the same hotel. I think they're pretty much spot on for the local market. Soapies have turned into clip joints for East Asian tourists, and the prices in Go-Go's are absolutely outrageous considering the quality. Oilies are kind of comparable but overall I would say have less attractive women than what's available online.
