I can never understand why people compare prices in their home country, or Dubai for example to Pattaya. The average wages and cost of living are worlds apart.

Its true that it is only a 500 baht difference but once everyone accepts that, then they will ask for 2500 then 3000 and so on.

Buy the one produced by a Thai company, the name is "Sidegra" (around 200 bahts for 4 pills of 100 MG), they won't counterfeit this one.

It is available in every pharmacy, just don't go to the big chains like Boots or Watson.

I've twice had fake vardenafil (Levitra), but never fake sildenafil. The fake vardenafil came from a pharmacy in Tijuana and from a street vendor along Sukhumvit (labeled Levitra and Bayer). I now bring my ED meds from USA and the generics have always worked fine for me.

Firstly thanks for the fun report. Hope others are to follow. This sentence I have cut out from your response encaptures entirely the right perspective for a tourist in Thailand. I have made many trips to Thailand directly from Dubai and before there from Europe. So having had a fabulous night in Club Vive Madrid last September (total cost for 2 hours with a stunning Romanian, including two lady drinks and small entry fee = 650 euros /25,000 THB) I fly to Dubai and have 2 fabulous nights. The amazing Club B night cost me nearly 3000 AED /28,000 THB, and Jules cheaper at 2000 AED /19,000 THB. My maths says I boarded a flight to Thailand having just spent a total of circa 72,000 THB in three (excellent) nights. Average spend for 2 hours max with very attractive girl was circa 24,000THB.

I get to Pattaya and decide to go to Soi 6 first, having been many times. Having RTFF I had learned that normal prices were around 1400-1500 (1000 for the girl and rest for the room) for ST. I recall seeing a very pretty young slim girl who 2 nights before I would happily have paid the 3000 AED /28,000 THB for. She quotes me 2000 THB ST and I protest it should be only 1500. She stands firm. What did I do? Like a total idiot I walk away. Over a pathetic 500 THB which is about 13 euros!! What a fool I was.

It is all well and good local mongers saying "don't come here flashing your money you will push the prices up". I obviously understand that if everyone had the 2 week millionaire mentality it would push prices up everywhere for everyone. Not good. Some respect is necessary for the greater good of all. But balance is needed here. It is easy to get wrapped up with what the local price should be when in instead, the sensible monger (you and your friends were) should switch into Im in a candy shop with really cheap prices mentality and exploit that to the full to have a total party/ capitalise on incredibly inexpensive pussy available.

I returned to Soi 6 once I had given my head a wobble determined to find that pretty girl and offer her 6000 for LT (which would still have been crazy cheap) but of course I didn't find her at all during the rest of that trip. Oh sure lots of other (good options) but I forfeited a peach for a measly few bahts/euros.

I return to the Land of Smiles in a few weeks and I will not be haggling over 13 euros, nor for that matter over 53 euros.

Get to Thailand if a tourist and just feast on the low cost opportunities.
Find the girl (s) you think are the best for you, whatever shape or size (happily we are all different in our tastes or otherwise there would not be many girls available!) and pay a good price to secure great service. Have firmly in mind what the same service in other parts of the World would cost. That latter part means for me, in a few weeks time, I will have a totally different mentality this time and will not haggle once. The options in Thailand are many, cost a fraction of what the same costs nearly anywhere else in the World and I fully intend to have that in mind when making my selections and tipping generously for great service.
