How is this dude making these videos? No one can see his camera, it's something. Also, I miss Phrom Phong so much. Watch the bit when you can see butterfly massage, I always thought the place was new and that it replaced aurora behind it, but it turns out it's always been there I think. I vaguely recall seeing it when I was there last year maybe. But it never registered with me cause I had my eye on aurora massage at the time. With what I see now on the butterfly massage website, really makes me wish I went when I had the chance last year. Was butterfly massage around last year? This is incredibly fascinating, cause if you watch the videos, it's obvious his camera is hidden somehow, hidden so well no one can even tell when they're looking right at him. He's standing next to people, recording them. I'm curious about how he hides the camera so well. My theory is it's an all in one gimball action camera, kinda like those tiny DJI types, or maybe a gopro, and somehow he's got it inside an over the shoulder bag strapped over the front of him. Or he cut a hole into a fanny pack and the camera or phone is shooting out of there, but how he keeps it so stable and in focus is pretty amazing.

It's fantastic though cause it's a great way to make money, the dude has a decent number of subscribers, and view count per video is pretty high. Based on what I know he could easily be making like 4 grand a month with those numbers. I mean, imagine makin' that kind of cash just walking around Bangkok and Pattaya. He's never on camera, doesn't say a word, no text on screen, no music. And it gets 40 to 60 k views? Those are really good numbers in this day and age of youtube.

I want to do this dudes, this is the life man. Livin' there, cruisin' the streets lookin' for chicks, surreptitiously recording video and making some income from it. Now, that's the life. The only question though is whether or not youtube would demonetize stuff like this. I got to imagine videos like this push the envelope just enough that it still makes money, cause if it doesn't I don't why anyone would bother uploading them much less secretly shooting it in the first place. Whoever this dude is, he's livin' the life! These videos are keeping my dream of going back to Bangkok alive. There's old places, new places, still plenty of hot babes, the atmosphere and energy of Bangkok. Thanks to videos like these we get to see up to date information on what's happening on the ground. Man, I miss Thailand.

I know it sucks to be on video when you're ostensibly in Bangkok to fuck prostitutes, but when I think about it, it's basically impossible to avoid it. Just embrace the chaos man. Look at all the youtube videos of the inside of Thermae that fellow hobbyists have been able to record. Your only option is to wear a mask. And you know what? I used to hate the idea of being recorded on video or photo, but now in this modern age of just so much ridiculous social media, everybody with their phones recording everything all the freakin' time non-stop, and every big city in the world recording your every move at every street corner, every building everywhere, there's no escape from being on someone or something's footage or photo. It's just a fact of modern life. And what that thing or person wants to do with your likeness is up to them, cause most of this stuff is captured in public anyway. So, I betcha fellas, with how much travel I've done and where I live now, I'm in literally thousands of photos and pieces of footage in thousands of cloud storage accounts, phones and hard drives around the world. And so are you. And you know what? It don't matter. This is how modern life works, and it is how it is, so it's all fair game. Just give me the chance, and I'll start making videos like this dude. Especially if I can make money from just freakin' walking around Bangkok and looking at girls.

In this modern world of constant surveillance, and everyone with phones recording everything all the time, there's only 2 things you can do. Wear a mask, or just smile for the camera

The area around Grace in Soi 3-5 is an Arab popular place, lot of eat outs and shops are Arab too. You will see lot of hotel guests as them. Given the DXB vibe, I guess that's where you will find the most Stanis. I have seen some EE and Stanis in some 5 stars (JW, Anantara specifically) but choices might be fewer and prices higher.

Back home I motorcycle up the mountains (GS1200). Here I use mototaxi 4-5 times a week for shorter rides, and only when necessary due to traffic and time, and I always feel unsafe.

I did invest in a cheap helmet after the first few rides though, which makes me feel a bit less unsafe.

Puy is on Silom Road, near the Sala Daeng BTS station and the Silom MRT station, and she works from approximately 3:30 PM to 10 PM Tuesday through Sunday.

The Grab Bike option is the deal sealer for me. It's always cheapest, and when inevitably there is a traffic jam, the driver can just weave in and out of the lanes and get you where you need to be. I can't say I've felt unsafe on one either.

Karaoke bar girls. They don't care if you're Farang or Asian but you likely won't get much attention without some basic Japanese. Not difficult to learn enough to make mamasan happy. This rule was overlooked during COVID but I think it's back again as I'm hearing guys being ignored by Mamasan again. I'm assuming these guys actually approached the girls to try talking to them! Girls on Thaniya do not Cat call and they don't wink at you when you walk by. you need to actually go up and talk to them. Kind of like Thermae.

The other factor is money. Most guys here prefer to pick up a SW around Nana or a girl at Thermae between 1200 and 2500 baht. A night out in the karaoke bars is not cheap unless you're in a group.

As of last week I still get fairly demonstrative winks, smiles and subtle "come over" hand gestures from girls sitting or standing outside of, oh, about 1/3 of the karaoke venues on Thaniya Road. Not exactly cat calls. But fairly obvious interest in my patronage. As a 70 year old white guy. But zero from the ones that are presumably more Asian-centric. Or, possibly, the reluctance to behave that way toward a white guy carries with it the risk of negative response from the potential Asian customers witnessing it. Who knows what the reality would be in relative privacy.

But I have not yet gone in to find out, not because of the costs. I would not have a problem paying 2 or 3 times the 1200 or 2500 baht costs for a hot girl who provides value for the money. And I know several fellow punters who feel the same.

No, I have not yet gone in to find out because in the 12 years I have occasionally passed by those places not once have I read or heard a testimonial from anyone online or in person raving about the great or even very good sex they got from so much as one of the girls at any one of those venues. Or, for that matter, even vaguely acceptable sex with any girl at any of those venues somewhat comparable to a middling experience one could scored anywhere else for 1200 baht, 2500 baht or for Nana Plaza ladydrink, barfine and girl's fee prices.

In which case, paying only 100 baht to sit in a room singing "My Way" to the hottest babe in the most exclusive Asian-centric karaoke venue on Thaniya Road would be a waste of 100 baht and an hour of my time. As well as do nothing for that poor girl's ears and sense of music appreciation.

Of course, I would be interested in finally reading a winning contrary testimonial re sex with those girls if anyone has one to share.

I would say in just the past 2-3 weeks.

The week by week, day by day, night by night, even hour by hour differences and changes between what is reported here or presented on YouTube videos and the reality "right now" seems to apply to just about everything including line ups in bars, hot girls, ugly girls, prices, available freelancers, service levels, quality, "best" vs "worst" of anything, etc as well as, in this case, decades old traditional venues.

Nice reports. I read your report in the Pattaya thread. From those reports your three favourite places were Soi Cowboy, Soi 6 Pattaya, and Heavens Above Pattaya. If you could only ever return to one of them for one night which would you choose and why?

With my current finances. Heaven Above hands down. Doors are closed, atmosphere is relaxing, place is clean. There is big choice of girls. Most of the girls speak decent english and can hold a conversation. Prices are reasonable. Girls are fun both downstairs and upstairs. You can take them upstairs or LT. Basically everything I would ever want. Some even offered threesome, but I didn't take their offer. And since it would be my only night. I would definitely try to fuck some of the hostesses. Especially all the black haired ones. I would also have drinks with at least 10 different girls during the night, that alone could be my whole night. Lord have mercy, I have 1000 ideas what I would do there right now.

Soi 6 is simply cheap go and bust a nut place to me. I enjoy the thrill of dirtiness in the moment. But I do feel walk of shame after for some reason.

Soi Cowboy is too expensive for my budget right now. Girls are prettiest there, but they are definitely hustling you.

If I was a millionaire. Well, that's another question entirely.

Very nice although an older hotel but still true 5 star. Great restaurants and yes roof top bar. I have only been there with my Thai GF, but if not there were many pick up opportunities available.

Part 1: I was in Thailand during June and July and wanted to contribute with reports. This isn't my first time in Thailand, but this was first full on, serious, every day mongering. I'm in my 20's, European, I'm going from memory what I remember the most, this is my Bangkok report.

Next time I'm in Bangkok. I'll definitely be more confident and less shy since I know now more about the game. I'll definitely try to go to clubs more and score normal girls and freelancers there. Also. I will be more confident in Thermae. So I can find girls whose Line I can get. For repeat incalls. Crazy house I will definitely visit a few more times to treat myself. But it's currently too expensive for every day mongering.
