Not sex related but some in Pattaya like me actually liked this place. Huge fire at Pattaya Floating market a couple of hours ago. What a shame. One of the nicest areas of Pattaya to walk around even though I had to pay a Farang surcharge. The market was never the same since COVID.

There are tons of Farang bars in the Darkside. A few have high quality ladies. The Darkside bar on the main drag of Khao Talo, has some hotties.

Right now two popular places out on Soi Siam Country around 5 KM off Sukhumvit, Soi 27? Next to the Taco House, a place called Darkside Bar, across the road Rt. 66 I see lots of traffic in and out.

I've always said go in Low Season. Skip from December to after Songkran. Girl:Guy ratio drops so much. May to November are good albeit hotter and a lot more rain. Go from June to mid-September and have all the girls to yourself.

My guess for why last high season was packed and high tourists numbers was the pent up demand from people not being able to travel due to Covid. We're well over a year now since the world reopened so to speak and travel across the globe has seen record numbers. But I think that post Covid demand starts to fizzle soon and places like Thailand won't see as busy high seasons for a while.

Global recession incoming, people's savings from Covid and government stimulus checks are about exhausted. Saw a stat that almost half Americans only have $1,000 or less in savings. I think that is likely indicative of the rest of the world.

Pattaya currently is pretty dead, especially compared to this time last year. I took a walk down Soi Pothole the other night and no customer in sight but a crap ton of ladies working and hollering for handsome man to buy drink. Honestly the ladyboys were better looking than the ladies on Soi Pothole.

I get multiple massages a day and all the ladies complain about a lack of customers and how slow it is.

Generally speaking, not a ton of lookers in Pattaya, but a ton of average looking ladies. It's fairly dry out there but I'm still having a good time..

It's typical that, in the depths of Low Season, many people feel its never going to end. Then High Season comes, Pattaya is jammed, and then people are surprised when May 1 comes and Pattaya is dead again.

Because there were so many customers last year, some will come back, and new customers will come, so any lady that maintains social contacts with last year's customers will do very well this High Season.

Of course, the smart guys come for Low Season.

On the lower part of the Khao Talo there are a bunch of new open bars very small. As for Booze I've been there a few times precovid only because of friends not impress ever. They try expanding once they had a place on Soi Buakhao, another different name on Soi Landoffice up from Tiggybits restaurant all gone before Covid.

Actually, there are more bars open today top portion of Khao Talo than in pre-COVID. There is another road leading up South from Nernpludwan that has a number of small bars nothing special. As for Ex remarks and picture I'm not familiar with this building it doesn't look like property on Nernpludwan. Based on the map it is Spelled wrong but it looks like a Soi called Tungkom Tulang which is south of Khao Talo. On the Darkside, Thai ladies with farang backing usually are funded by farangs I hear this a lot " small money " This is all they know after the grand opening friends are gone six months down the road door shuts. Those that stay open like Monkey Bar, Pussy Cat are doing things they shouldn't. Although it is small money to Thais it adds up when you start to kick out each month and bring in zero even the farang who thinks they are rich due to the exchange rate get a reality check these are basically grey businesses of what the Triads are being accused of but on a much larger scale..

Again, I am not recommending anyone go there, as its a traditional Thai bar. There are Farang bars in the Darkside, where fun can be had. One example is the Darkside Bar on Khao Talo road, just before it turns into Khao Talo 9. Lots of doable ladies, but I rarely get out there.

In the years I was running around updating the places on the darkside for a guy in town I did this for a reason didn't get paid but allowed me to stop at each place to take a pee maybe I just might find a gem. In all that time I can only remember once a Thai guy confronted me and it wasn't a BF, The majority of these places have to pay to operate once a month a car pulls up, and payment is made usually to the district cops so having your own protection a Thai guy isn't good business or appearance out here.

As for looks, I would compare it to personnel on Soi Pothole, you aren't going to find Go-Go types out here. In the past, I've been more attracted to female Thai managers, owners, and even cashiers.

Further out to the Lake even rare about a dozen are ventured by local expats. Yes if you visit at bad timing you can easily get cock block but a regular that buys drinks all night long. The ones on Khao Talo top portion have ST rooms on site. The place I used to enjoy is Aqua Deyme down off Nernpludwan I've had a few really good rolls in the hay there they have a pool, pool table, and rooms in the back very nice setup. Right now two popular places out on Soi Siam Country around 5 KM off Sukhumvit, Soi 27? If backrooms bother you and you have your own transportation you can head back up to Sukhumvit Soi just before between Nernpludwan and Siam is a ST resort call what else " Love Inn " one of the best clean, 280 for 3 hours 580 VIP for the night.

I had my first ever trip to Thailand last January-February and I really expected it to be slow and barren after reading a lot of the doom and gloom (the global economy slowing down is hurting tourism!) reports here. Maybe it wasn't as busy as previous high seasons, but Bangkok and Pattaya were absolutely PACKED. I would take reports stating that Thailand is going to be hurting and slow with a grain of salt. People have been saying that for a long time on here it seems, but Walking Street was still packed, bars were packed, malls were packed, etc.

I'the love for things to slow down as I hate crowds, but let's be honest with our reports, fellas. The crowds of Chinese and Koreans are still very much flooding the streets of Bangkok and Pattaya, particularly for high season. I bet you could even watch YouTube videos / streams that will confirm this. I am going again this December and I'll report back.

There are tons of Farang bars in the Darkside. A few have high quality ladies. The Darkside bar on the main drag of Khao Talo, has some hotties.

Among the Thai bars, you will find loads of housewife types, instead of a day job, they work bar at night ("only drink" Not so hot. And low earnings, because of the no hanky panky thing.

Rarely, some young Thai guy will show up as a customer, a bargirl falls for him, sometimes with tragic consequences.

Bottom line: mongers can skip Thai bars, and Darkside Farang bars, and stick to Pattaya.

Many of the best places are located on the top portion of Soi Khao Talo, these places are pretty much like places on Soi Boomerang. When reference to Thai owned majority of them are owned by former bar girls.

Nope I've never even been to Soi Noen Plub Wan. Never saw a reason to go there. Bars look dumpy. Area looks dumpy.

As for Thung Klom-Tan Man 9, what is this place? An open air restaurant? There are PR girls here? If I went here I'd never find my way back home!

What does having an onsite room have to do with being able to take a girl home from a bar or DFK her in a bar? No onsite rooms at 98.325% of the gogo bars I've visited. Does that mean nothing goes on in the bar or you can't meet a girl from there on her day off? But to answer your question no I don't know any Thai bars with onsite rooms. Not saying there aren't any I just never ask.

I've been out on the dark side for 20 years, I know the Soi of Nern plud wan like the back of my hand. Out here main roads would include Soi Siam, Nern pludwan, Soi Khao Noi, and Soi Khao Talo. The reference of the Soi by E is spelled incorrectly I believe might be Soi Tungkom Talang in correct is South of Sukhumit left side into Soi 89, This road in length is about 6 KM, There are places that open daily and close daily.

Not blowing my horn but I used to cycle daily out here and once did a review and map for a guy on the PA site with bars on the dark side I would update him yearly. But since Covid with places closing by the hour, what was the point of an update? Many of the best places are located on the top portion of Soi Khao Talo, these places are pretty much like places on Soi Boomerang. When reference to Thai owned majority of them are owned by former bar girls. Some of the outdoor bars enclosed are farang back with a front of a Thai lady. In all my years, I've not been confronted by any Thai man at any of these places or had to watch one sit nearby.

There was a time when Nernpludwan had a number of bars today barely a handful, one in mind is Red Bar still open. Many farangs out here get big heads and want to own a bar easy to do, but realize after a few months the money isn't so small when they start to kick out 50,000 plus a month and bring in zero. When they open it is packed party it up then when the friends leave driving by one can predict the end. A few still operate and you never see anyone inside, they are laundering money or in a backroom gambling house. There are two such places on Nernpludwan, I met one years ago a farang who purchased it for his ex-wife said to give her some business got some nice-looking girls inside Even with my low standards I nearly threw up there were a few young kids outside playing with their phones I ask the wife what's up with that, protection because she running a gambling house upstairs. I told the Farang to tell your wife to decide if the club is for fucking or gambling get the punks out if it is fucking.

Today, just off Nernpludwan there is still one place worth visiting and that is Aqua Demi, has a pool and ST rooms in the back a really nice setup 15 years ago it was packed, especially on Sundays. Girls used to dance naked and swim in the nude. There are a number of places on Soi Khao Talo, past the Gym and Siam Puri food store. One lady owner has been there for years she passes drugs out of her place. Otherwise, there aren't really any notable places There are a number of outdoor bars on surrounding Soi not worth mentioning open today and closing tomorrow.

Out of Siam near the Taco House Soi 27? There are two GCs named Rt. 66 and Darkside that look interesting but never any sitting outside but at times loads of bikes.

One place I've wanted to try for a long time on Nernpludwan a Thai Karaoke club from 9 pm on have from a distant best looking girls in the area. I don't venture on the Darkside too close to home never know if I might run into a neighbor. Out to the Lake don't bother but if you stay a long time can ride a big it is worth looking into in the old days I found some of the best GF experiences out here but if you are looking young don't bother.
