If you have a conversation, you have a chance for a date. If you have a date, you have a chance.

Because I had to weed through pages of complaining, whining, fear mongering (heh), or the ol' "Back in my day" BS. I'll give you some reports.

I get the fact that people want to experience their fantasies here, but its no wonder there is resentment when gringo groups are in nice restaurants openly talking about their escapades loudly, and celebrating like they have never had sex before. It's pathetic really. And then some bring "dates" with them and are just in their translation apps the whole time or they ignore the chicas, who looked bored out of their minds and are just waiting to get paid and leave. No real connection being made. But I did see some supermodel hot girls with these gringos so they were doing something right.

My hotel charges way too much to allow a chica in, but I don't think I would have loved staying in some of the budget options that people tout on this board because walking / driving past them, they don't seem that clean, and are full of gringos.

Will try out the clubs so I can feel out personality, and not stick to whatsapp and online profiles. So far the list include FaseDos, La Isla, Fiebre, Lutron, etc.

The first time I went to la isla, way back in the day, it was amazing. Half the girls there were hot. The other two strip clubs were great too. 25% of the girls there were hot. Try different browsers, ie Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. Make sure you'll look at the right end of the web pages.

I was getting the same error on my last trip, but I was using the Frequent Traveler option like Fun Luvr mentioned. I didn't use that option and then tried another computer with another browser. That worked, but I don't think I had to use a different computer or browser.

I'm back in Bogota and had no issues using my iPhone the other day. Didn't use Frequent Traveler either.

It's been a while since I've done devops type work but it could be geo tied load balancer leads to a bad server / site. Maybe try bouncing off a VPN in Colombia? Failing that maybe try rebooting and using an incognito tab.

Also, when selecting the departing city, I selected Florida as the city because in the previous version, that was the option I used. By making those three changes, it worked the first time. When I'm in Centro I stay clear of other gringos.

Unfortunately because of the onslaught of the new mongers here who used to frequent SEA, and from many others places since the Pandemic, these new mongers since Colombia opened up eight months after the Pandemic have changed many things for foreign mongers in Centro now.

Sometimes I see these mongers as though I was somewhere in SEA who typically have a beer in one hand, and a Cigarette in the other.

Some of them, but not all of them I find disgusting, not only by their personal habits and appearance, but with there dealings with the SW's, and the locals who frequent Centro daily, hence leaving what I call a tarnished image for all of the foreign mongers here of which many are good guys.

As a result of this, the mongering environment is very different than before the Pandemic.
