Isn't Seared a steakhouse and bar? I know they have live music but seems odd for a 'restaurant' to try and become the new Brix.

There's a famous KTV called Lido on the 5th floor of the attached building of the Holiday Inn Atrium (you walk through the entrance of the hotel and go straight past reception and at the back (next to the toilets) on the right is the small entrance to the other building. Immediately left and the elevators are here.

But that's on the high end side: the most beautiful Chinese and Viets can be found there at north of 1 K per pop. Controlled by the mamasan so service is kind of "guaranteed". I will usually take the girls' number and contact them directly. They would still charge 5-600 SGD at least but that depends on your nego skills and if they're into you.
